it was truly informative and hands on! we learnt about the history of turkish coffee and got to experience the techniques (and heat) and it was truly intimate and magical. highly recommended! Ali our guide was exceptional and kind with a good sense of humour!

It was everythin I hoped for and then some. Our host was terrific, and knowledgeable about the culture of turkish coffee. The making of the coffee was easy to learn, and it yielded some amazing results. I highly recommend this workshop to anyone who wants to learn about turkish coffee.

Highly recommended! Besides learning how to properly make turkish coffee (and making your own) you learn a about coffee culture, fortune telling and turkish hospitality. Ali is a great guide and I loved the chill vibe at Fabrikafa. Overall a very enjoyable experience and one of the Highlights of my trip to Istanbul!

Overall it was decent. Learnt a lot about the coffee culture of Türkiye. I was more interested in the Fortune Telling workshop which is widely known around the world. It was a but disappointing as the exact location wasn’t provided in the “Get Your Guide” App. When we arrived at the Hafiz Mustafa cafe and asked for the workshop, the staff seem pissed as to why everyone was asking them about the fortune telling workshop. It wasn’t a terrible experience but wasn’t a good one either, especially when you have to switch locations, pay about 20 euros and don’t get what you expect.

Es war eine sehr witzige und lehrreiche Erfahrung. Der Guide hat das Wissen über türkischen Kaffee witzig und interessant gemacht. Auch die Zubereitung war super.

Una excelente opción, fuera de lo turístico. Muy buen taller. El Dueño del Lugar nos recibió muy bien, due muy amable y la experiencia fue muy completa. Los regalos, la historia y los tips sobre la Ciudad son invaluables.

Aziz was a brilliant instructor, we had a great time learning to make proper Turkish coffee from beans and the history behind Turkish coffee, then telling each others fortunes in the grounds, would absolutely recommend!!

It was lovely, a bit of history and coffee. If you enjoy drinking coffee this is a must!

Absolut super. Der Guide war super freundlich, hat alles erklärt und auch sonst jede Menge Tipps für Istanbul gehabt. Absolut Klasse. Dazu noch super verständliches Englisch. Würde es mehr als 5 Sterne geben, wären auch die verdient! Absolute Empfehlung.

Mir hat der Workshop außerordentlich gut gefallen. Bünyamin war sehr nett und hat die Geschichte des Kaffees in der Türkei sehr interessant vorgestellt. Der selbstgemachte Kaffee war super lecker und das Set zum mit nach Hause nehmen perfekt um das Kaffee Ritual in der Heimat vorzuführen.

The workshop was very well-organized. The space is very cozy and cute. The instructors / guides were friendly, patient, and well-informed about what they are offering. The area is also really nice to walk around and discover while you're at it - overall it's a 10/10, would definitely recommend!

Great explanation about Turkish Coffee history, Turkish Drinking Coffee Culture and Turkish method to do Fortune Telling. It's worth it.

A very good experience if you have a couple of hours free in your itinerary. Only drawback is that this is on the Asia side so commute especially for this can be a hassle. Would recommend to cover this on your Asia-side day. Ali is a good guide who helped me reschedule the workshop as my flight got delayed. Great giveaways as well. I am going to remember this experience.

The experience was great, learning how to make Turkish coffee and meeting other people. I appreciate the host meeting me on the European side and getting me to the location. It was really nice the gift we got at the end since I was not expecting it.

The activity itself was very well organised and our guide Zeynep was super sweet, helpful and incredibly fun to be with! This is my first time in Istanbul and I will admit, the workshop all together was one of the highlights of the trip! Excellent work!
