My parents and I had a great time with Bünyamin at his cafe. Making our own lamps was one of the highlights of our Turkey trip. He was extremely personable and gave us some good recs for the Asian side of Istanbul (underrated, don’t miss it). Overall an awesome experience with a lifelong memory to show for it!
So many glass colors and beads. We enjoyed it so much. The host was great. Even coffee and snacks were served. Excellent taste in music. Thank you so much.
Very good activity. I loved the place, we have a lot of differents colors to personalize our lamps and the host is really helpful. The music is also good!

Lovely experience! Bunyamin was super responsive in terms of communication and the whole experience was super well organised and arranged.
Bunyamin’s workshop was so much fun, and a highlight of our trip to Istanbul. I emailed him in advance about bringing my five year old daughter and he was quick to respond that he would be delighted to have her join. He met us on time at the pickup location and our group took the metro to his shop. He was warm and welcoming throughout the whole workshop. Helping all of us and very sweet with my daughter as we all put together beautiful lamps. We meet the shop kitten, had coffee and made new friends with the other guests. Highly recommend!

This was a highlight of our Istanbul trip - instead of paying for a lamp in the bazaar, it was amazing to make your own custom design (even adapted for US voltage) and Bunyamin was so helpful and patient as we worked on them. Also it's worth visiting for quality time with Crepe the most adorable kitten in all of Istanbul, who watched us make lamps but also cuddled up for hugs. We loved meeting her.
expérience vraiment super ! Nous avons participé a 3 avec ma sœur et une amie. Le lieux du rdv étais facile à trouver du côté européen. Benjamin est sympthèque et avenant. l atelier est situé sur la rive asiatique (ce qui nous as permis de découvrir ce côté d istanbul), dans un petit cafe-restaurant à l ambiance très cosy. the et café sont offert ainsi que des petits gâteaux. on nous laisse vraiment le temps choisir mosaïque et motif, avec des petites recommandations pour les plus hésitants. Le résultat final es très jolie et est même exposé dans mon salon.globalement une expérience vraiment agréable er sympthèque pour ceux qui aime les travaux manuel, un rapport qualité prix tout à fait correct et un hôte sympatique, je recommande !

From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of magical. 🌈✨The workshop took place in a charming and well-equipped studio, which provided the perfect atmosphere for learning about this beautiful art form. Bünyamin and his team were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and patient, guiding us through the process of creating our very own mosaic lamps. The hands-on experience was fantastic, and I was thrilled with the final product – a stunning, unique lamp that I can't wait to display in my home. 🏠💡
We took the Turkish Lamp worship for my birthday and it did not disappoint. Me and 3 of my girlfriends made lamps. We learned the history behind this style of lamp. Our host was very informative. If you are looking for a cultural experience then look no further. This lamp can be fitted for American voltage or other. You personalize the design you want with over 30 options of tile colors. The atmosphere was great! This is a must try!
One of the most amazing and unique experience that we were able to do in Istanbul. Highly recommended! It’s a fun and engaging way to learn the mosaic art and a little bit of history. Bünyamin was such a great host, he provided all the materials and there were just a lot of colored mosaic to pick. I would definitely do it again if I come back to Istanbul. Bonus part, you can take the lamp you designer at home as a sweet souvenir.
This was an absolutely amazing experience! We had a great time learnings about the culture and we made a new friend with Bunyamin and his kitty Crepe. Highly recommend checking this out.
This is a must do if you come to Instanbul. Bünyamin was very helpful even after. It was fun making the lamps, definitely something I would cherish for a lifetime.

This AirBnb experience was an incredible way to get to sample turkish tea/coffee and become immersed in Turkish culture. The art of making the lamps was made easy through the guidance of Bunyamin - serving as a storyteller and an artistic guide. You get to create and keep a small piece of Turkish art for your own home! Thank you, this was a great experience!

It was a nice experience to create a turkish mosaik lamp. We had a big sortiment of colorful mosaikpieces. Besides that, the cafeshop which was inside the workshop was a hidden Gem! I can highly recomend that activity to make new friends and new lamps :)
Hey everybody, this workshop is the best you can do in Istanbul! Honestly your host will be the friendliest, coolest and most professional airbnb experiences guy you will ever meet. We are so thankful and made a lot of new friends. Do yourself something good and just do it!

Bunyamin created a wonderful experience you should not miss when you come to Istanbul and would like to do something a little more creative!He even picked me up from the European side and then invited me into his workshop where I felt warmly welcomed! He gave a very nice introduction into mosaics and then I had plenty of time to create my lamp design. He always gave advice when needed and offered plenty of tea, which I almost forgot because I zoned out! I really enjoyed the experience and highly recommend it for individuals and groups alike! What a great host, Ben was so thoughtful as to meet us near our location to escort us to the venue, a super, buzzing cafe atmosphere where, within our own private area, he guided us through the history and process of this activity, the creation of a super mosaic glass lamp to take home with us! Such fun, good company and lots of tea and Turkish coffee to help us along, a really super activity and Ben is such a knowledgable, friendly host, thoroughly recommend
Bunyamin was a fantastic instructor and host. He played awesome music and talked to us a lot. We were able to ask him all those questions we have when visiting another place, especially one so different from our own. Other than that, the material available was great and high quality - he's the one that cuts the glasses we use! We were also offered tea and a delicious coffee. We did it as a (late) Valentine's day date and now we have two gorgeous lamps to decorate our house with, plus all the nice memories from the workshop. Highly recommend this experience!
Our experience was incredible! Our guide, Ali, went above and beyond. He picked us up in Fatih and whisked us away to his workshop. He was incredibly attentive throughout the class, ensuring our lamps were perfect and dried quickly so we could catch our evening flight. This was hands-down the highlight of our trip to Istanbul. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this class – it's a must-do for anyone visiting the city!
