we liked that the activity was very relaxing and within 3 hours we created something beautiful. the pacing was very good and the guide was a very good teacher.

Bera was a wonderful host and instructor. She made us feel very comfortable and helped us along the way.

One of the absolute highlights of our trip to Türkiye! We were met and guided to the workshop by Bahar who was very helpful and friendly. We were instructed by the very talented artist Berra who was very patient and helpful. We loved it and would definitely recommend it to anyone else in Istanbul

Müberra hat uns super durch den Kurs geleitet und alles toll erklärt. Bei kleinen Missgeschicken stand sie mit Rat und Tat zur Seite, so dass das Ergebnis einfach nur wunderschön werden konnte... Vielen herzlichen Dank!

Schon etwas anders, als wir dachten: Wir hatten anstelle von Fliesen Teller vor uns. Die Teller waren mit einem (hübschen) Muster versehen, das wir mit Unterstützung ausgemalt haben 😅. Wir hatten eine sehr entspannte Zeit, die Atmosphäre war auch schön. Kann man gut machen, nur die Kreativität ist recht beschränkt.

İstanbul'a gezmeye geldiyseniz zaten çok iyi ama bizim gibi yaşadığı şehirde turist olmak isteyene, çift olarak farklı bir aktivite arayana veya terapi gibi vakit geçirmek isteyene birebir bir aktivite. Eğitmenimiz çok tatlı bir insandı, takıldığımız noktalarda, renklere karar vermek konusunda çok yardımcı oldu. Sonunda evimize çok güzel sanat eserleri götürmüş olmanın mutluluğuyla ayrıldık. Etkinlikle ilgili ayrıntılı bir reels instagram hesabımızda da var merak ediyorsanız instagram: maksatyolculuk 😇 Ayrıca ikram kahveleri ve çayları oldukça güzel. Workshop olmasa bile kahve içmeye gidilir :)

We had an amazing time at turkish tile painting. Our Guide Zeynep was very patient, super helpful and overall just a great person to spend time with!

Wonderful experience! I took part in the Tile Painting Workshop led by Zeynep - a wonderful artist, and such a sweet and kind person! You are provided with all the materials, and you receive guidance and advice on how to progress with your painting, what I personally really appreciated and I was very happy with the final result. Definitely the best souvenir I’ll bring back home from Istanbul. On top of that, during the workshop Isra would regularly check up on me, strike a conversation, offer me more tea, coffee or biscuits - she was so lovely, and I felt so well taken care of! Teşekkürler Zeynep and Isra for making my experience so memorable ❤️

Toller Workshop. Berre war sehr freundlich und hatte ein gutes Auge für Farben. Kaffee, Chai, Kekse und Wasser inklusive.

This was really nice. Timings and venue was changed last minute so we started off a bit late as they had to prepare for the activity. Guide was nice and friendly, only spoke Turkish though. Staff were nice and kind, Fabrikafa make & coffee is a cute, artsy place. Had a good time overall.

Class was cancelled. I was offered another then that one was cancelled. Still havnt received a be refund.

The workshop was lovely and made a great souvenir. Two important notes though!! The workshop is in Üsküdar on the Asian side so schedule for that. Second, it’s in a studio inside a café and there is lot of cigarette smoke (which is everywhere in Istanbul but here you sit for a few hours - potentially with kids like us).

Chaïma est vraiment une personne exceptionnelle ! Gentille, bienveillante, elle fait tout pour que l’on passe le meilleur moment possible. Elle nous donne des idées aussi pour notre dessin et peinture. Une expérience au top, un beau souvenir placé dans un cadre à la fin et bien emballé. Je recommande et reviendrai très certainement insh’Allah

FYI - after we booked this activity we were contacted via WhatsApp and informed the workshop and activity is actually located on the “Asian” side of Istanbul. We were given two options and the first allowed us to meet a guide who assisted us by taking us on the metro to the workshop. Unfortunately after the activity ended we had to pay for the transport home/figure out how to get back to the European side which was really inconvenient at 6pm (rush hour). Overall, we really enjoyed the activity. Our guide was super lovely and helpful. We had unlimited tea and water and heaps of guidance. The entire thing was packed up beautifully and we couldn’t be happier with our souvenirs. We would definitely book this again and even try the other activities like mosaic lantern / perfume workshop. Just be aware that this activity is on the Asian side of İstanbul, NOT the European side (as it is advertised). I hope the activity provider updates the description so that people are more prepared.

It is one of the most memorable moments of my life so far. Guide was a local Turkish girl and taught me gracefully. Mustafa, the senior member, is really kind man. Ambience is great and you won't regret spending money on this activity. It will be a add-on to all of your experiences in Istanbul.

I'm always visiting master classes at this studio, and 100% of them I enjoy! This one let's you to make a tile using acrylic paints , with traditional Turkish patterns. At the end they give you a dried and framed ready to hang work. Great option for making your own souvenir!

I had a great time at the workshop! So friendly staff and we had a great time painting and talking. I would give them more stars if there would be. Definitely worth the money!

Amazing experience, absolutely to do in Istanbul. All is,perfectly organized and run smoothly. I met my group in the European side of the city and then moved to the shop which is based in the Asian side [only few minutes walking from Marmaray station]. I really enjoyed to paint my ceramic tile. Seyma assisted me all long the process providing me useful suggestions or solutions when I needed. Her nice conversation and large knowledge in artt and history made my experience great. I think this is a good way to meet local people and add some special memories to your travel. I regretted to do not have more time to spend there and try some other activity. Absolutely I recommend you to do not loose this experience visiting Istanbul.

Çok ilgili ve bize destek veren eğitmenimiz vardı. Farklı kültürler ve deneyimler yaşamak güzeldi. Tekrar gelmek istediğim etkinler var. Tavsiye ediyorum.
