Everything was well-organized and the communication was excellent. I learned so much and really cherished the experience!

this was a great activity to do on a rainy winter day. I had problems with getting to the venue, but Ali helped me with directions, even though it was my fault for not reading the meeting point details correctly. Aleyna was very clear as to how to create the lamps and sharing its history. it's a relaxing activity and a great way to meet new people. The finished product is something that'll remind you of your Istanbul trip too. Aleyna also went above and beyond by helping me get back to my accommodations by going to the station and helping me with directions. would highly recommend this!

It was awesome! I made a good solo traveler friend & Bunyamin gave us great historical context + a safe place to chit chat and learn. You walk away with a great story and skill. Highly recommend.

This was one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve been to in a long time. The hosts were incredible, the location was great for people using public transport and the experience itself was very enjoyable. Highly recommend!

I loved it! Aleyna was brilliant. We were there for half the time as we had to catch our flight back home but I’m glad we squeezed it in!

It was alot of fun to make the lamp and the Instruktions and help make it super easy! Making the mosaik pattern was a very relaxing experiance-a great activity when you want to escape the hectic of the city for a couple of hours and, on top of that, bring back home a personalized souvenir😊❤️

The workshop was in a very accesible place near the metro station. The place was beautifully decorated and Aleyna was a great host. She was very helpful with the construction of the decorations. Everything was included; even unlimited amount of coffee and tea. Kids will love this activity and of course you leave with a beautifully decorated lamp that you can put in your home or give it as a great present to friends or family.

Absolutely phenomenal. I read a lot of reviews before I decided to book this workshop, and it still managed to exceed all of my expectations. I would recommend this to everyone. It was an absolute treat to learn about the brewing techniques, history, and cultural significance of Turkish coffee from Ali. He is a wonderful teacher and a master coffee maker. You will come away from the workshop with a lovely little gift bag, but I honestly felt like I was being given a gift the entire time I was there. It is a special thing to be welcomed to a place, to sit down across from someone and learn about their culture, and then to share a drink at once so universal and so specific that you made together. This was my first time doing an activity like this while travelling, and I think it will totally change how I travel in the future. The class was such an enriching experience, and undoubtedly a highlight of my trip.

I must commend Aziz for the exceptional attention to details and dedication to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for me. From the moment I expressed interest in the workshop, he has been proactive and attentive, reaching out to me and providing various meetup options to accommodate schedule and preferences. His constant follow-ups and clear communication created a strong sense of reassurance and made me ecstatic prior the event. The setting was warm and inviting and the atmosphere was one of genuine camaraderie and shared discovery.

An excellent way to spend your time in İstanbul and experience warm hospitality and learn about these iconic lamps. Aleyne was a great host and told me all about the art history of these lamps. I made a little desk lamp to take home, which feels a lot better than buying one from a market. I would 100% recommend if you're looking for something a bit different and enjoy arts and crafts! Not to mention some furry cafe cats to keep you company too.
