Excellent, the activity was very fun in a nice setting. It was great to be able to bring back a handmade memento, and I highly recommend this to fellow travelers!

We absolutely loved this workshop! We were picked up right at 2:30 on the European side and brought over to the shop via metro. We were given tea, coffee, and cookies as we learned about the history of the lamps. They had many colors and choices, and all the other guests were great. Be mindful that the lamp is wired to Turkish voltage and plugs, and as an American I’ll have to figure out how to get it rewired so it can work at home.

The workshop was great. Taking home the mosaic lamps is certainly the highlight of Istanbuk trip. Highly recommend it

This expierence is well worth the price you pay. The lamps came out beautifully and hosts were very kind to let us in even though we were late. I recommend it to everyone

The experience was great, learning how to make Turkish coffee and meeting other people. I appreciate the host meeting me on the European side and getting me to the location. It was really nice the gift we got at the end since I was not expecting it.

Our guide took us on the train to venture to Asia side of Istanbul. The location also has a cute cafe and delicious budget restaurants nearby. Nice to get away from the tourist crowds and explore local neighborhoods.

The activity itself was very well organised and our guide Zeynep was super sweet, helpful and incredibly fun to be with! This is my first time in Istanbul and I will admit, the workshop all together was one of the highlights of the trip! Excellent work!

Ci siamo trovati abbastanza bene, il luogo in cui si svolge il laboratorio è molto frequentato (non ho capito se oltre agli altri laboratori ci sia anche un bar o qualcosa del genere). Nella totalità è andato bene ma penso che il tutto sia stato un po’ troppo approssimativo, una spiegazione iniziale e poi il lavoro si svolge in autonomia. Abbiamo avuto fortuna di trovare un gruppo socievole ma se così non fosse secondo me dovrebbe essere implementata di più l’interazione con l’host

Ali was our instructor for the session, he was very helpful in advising us the type of pieces to use to make the lamp really stand out. It was an amazing experience, and we get to take home our personalised lamp. It was really enjoyable ☺️

If you’re looking for a fun, cultural, crafty activity to do I would highly recommend this experience! Bunyamin and Zeynep were both very helpful and knowledgeable, and communicated very well in English. Getting to take home a beautiful lamp is the icing on the cake!

Ali was our instructor for this session, and his storytelling about the history of Turkish coffee was great. The instructions for making the coffee were very clear and precise. It was a cost session, and everyone got the ample attention in coffee making and asking of questions. The experience was great, and we left with some souvenirs too! It was unexpected, and a really nice touch to the whole experience. We enjoyed ourselves a lot!

We've lived in Istanbul for three years now and I looked around at different mosaic lamp making courses and this looked like the best so I decided to try it out for my partner and her mother and they absolutely loved it. The instructors were very friendly and they were very communitive before the date making sure that we were comfortable in getting to their workshop. It's a real value for money and overall an amazing experience. I would recommend this to anyone that loves arts and crafts, and anyone interested in an unique Turkish experience.

Ali was a (Turkish) delight from start to finish! He meet us at the train station and was calm and kind even though we were in a rush and late (Istanbul traffic ‍️). He was funny and knowledgeable when presenting his coffee class - we had a great time and got all his questions right at the end! We recommend this completely. Thanks Ali!
