I think it was a great idea of spending creatively time in Istanbul doing something different than most of the tourists. I enjoyed it a lot, also the communication was very good (3 people contacted me making sure I know how to get there), and I made a really nice lamp by myself, I decorated it, got biscuits and tea. It was worth it.

Super Workshop und Alenya war eine tolle Kursleiterin. Sie hat mich vom europäischen Teil abgeholt und wir sind gemeinsam zum Kursorte mit der Metro gefahren. Vor Ort gab es viele Farben und Muster zur Auswahl. Alenya hat bei der Zusammenstellung beraten. Sehr meditativ das Mosaik zu machen. Es gab Tee/Kaffee, Kekse und Wasser während des Workshops. Ich kann diesen Workshop jedem empfehlen, der diese Lampen mag. Man erstellt sich ein Unikat, welches echt toll aussieht und lernt etwas über die Geschichte der Lampen. Viel besser als sich eine Lampe zu kaufen ;) ich hätte am liebsten gleich die nächste Lampe gemacht :) Hinweis: Der Treffpunkt bei Getyourguide ist auf der europäischen Seite und nicht der Kursort (daher ist treffen dort um 14:30Uhr). Es besteht auch die Möglichkeit direkt zum Kursort zu kommen. Ich habe dazu eine WhatsApp erhalten am Kurstag, also am besten zwischendrin aufs Handy schauen.

Es war sehr authentisch und freundlich dort in dem Café und grade auch die beiden Organisatoren war super flexibel und gelassen.

Honestly the BEST activity you can do in Istanbul. Zero scam. Everything was interesting and well organised from the beginning. I truly had a blast. Ali was exceptional and made the difference. Thank you for everything and for the memorable experiment ♥️

I loved it and I will definitely come back again the next time I travel to Istanbul! Thank you Aleyna for picking me up and bringing me to the workshop, for your guidance, for helping me find the pieces for my lamp and for your tips to check out places in the Asian side of Istanbul.

Workshop was a nice introduction and history lesson to Turkish Coffee however the fortune telling was a bit trivial. I was expecting more in depth knowledge and experience. The guides and host were lovely. The coffee souvenir gifts were a nice touch.

This was actually my favorite activity during our stay in Istanbul! 😊

very friendly, enjoyable activity

Muy buena actividad, al inicio una explicación de la historia y tradición del cafe en Turquía, luego una parte práctica donde preparas tu propio cafe y luego una introducción a leer la fortuna. Destacar que el lugar es súper agradable y Benjamín y Ali muy amables, ayudandote a llegar desde el metro e incluso ayudando con información para tu viaje a Estambul. Incluso nos acompaño hasta la estación para devolvernos.

A fun little way to spend a few hours, everything is provided and they come and get you from the side of the river you’re staying on (very helpful if you haven’t got your bearings yet). Leaves you with a keepsake from your travels.

We spent a very good time choosing and creating the mosaic lamp, it was lovely and the guide was very attentive.

It was a fun activity although a couple points could be improved. The online description isn't completely accurate though. No sight of the "freshly baked cookies" (you get one savoury one that comes from a box) and the introduction/explanation was very brief. We didn't get gloves as shown on the pictures either so it does get messy with the glue.

Были на воркшопе 24 сентября. Прекрасно добрались до места на пароме. Все проходит в арт пространстве. Интересный гид Азиз, прекрасный кофе и увлекательная беседа! В конце нас еще ждал сюрприз )))

Es hat Spaß gemacht am Workshop teilzunehmen. So eine kleine Mosaik-Lampe ist schon etw. besonderes und wird uns stets an die tolle Zeit erinnern, die wir in Istanbul hatten. Die Kursleiterin hat uns anfangs den Ablauf genaustens erklärt und war für Nachfragen stets anwesend. Uns wurde auch Kaffee und Tee angeboten. Dieser Workshop ist eine tolle und einzigartige Aktivität, zu der ich jedem nur raten kann.

That was a great experience to learn and practice making delicious Turkish coffee ! Bunyamin and his team are knowledgeable and supper friendly , good storytelling ! I was already very happy with the knowledge and history I gained from them , but in the end I was surprisingly offered a gift of a beautiful set of turkish coffee cup & saucer and a traditional cezve ! I will treat my friends at home Turkish coffee with this cute cezve ! Thank you Bunyamin for this good memory in Istanbul !

It was a great experience. Learned a lot about the history of Turkish coffee and Benjamin was just an absolute pleasure.

We took home three beautiful lamps that will remind us of a great afternoon in Istanbul. Loved it!
