I really wanted to buy a Turkish lamp so I thought why not make my own. One of the best things I’ve done in Istanbul. The whole experience was so smooth, I felt so relaxed and we were looked after so well by the host. You’re located in a room off a coffee shop so the vibe was lovely.Couldn’t recommend this enough, I’d give it 6 stars if I could.

What a special experience! Bunyamin educated us on everything having to do with Turkish coffee— where it came from, how the traditions evolved, how to prepare it, and how to read fortunes from the grounds. I recommend this to anyone wanting to appreciate Turkish culture and Turkish coffee even more!

Bunyamin was an exceptional host! We had an amazing experience. We learned so much about Turkish culture and tradition. It really was invaluable and something I think will stay with me for a lifetime. I learned so much I didn’t know and will forever look at coffee in a different light.

This is a must do when visiting Istanbul. Bunyamin is the man, you'll be in good hands!

Such a nice experience we had with bnyamin. Not only the experience was nice and we met lots of friends but they were thoughtful enough to meet us somewhere and pick us to the the location. Definitely recommend it !!!

This was such a fun experience! A very welcome break from a day of running around and touring! We all made beautiful lamps. Lots of great mosaic tiles to choose from and easy instructions. The studio was lovely and we sat around a large table making new friends with other tourists. Afterwards we enjoyed sweet treats and tea! Highly recommend!

Me and my friend enjoyed the Turkish coffee making workshop and found out more about the history of it. Bunyamin is a great story teller, he is funny and entertaining. He came to pick us up from the European side (his workshop is located on the Asian side). We were together with 8 other people and had a nice time there.We would have paid more to get an experienced person to do the fortune telling for us, instead we had to do this ourselves with some guidance from Bunyamin.

A fost distractiv si relaxant să fac lampa, de la alegerea modelelor și culorilor la lipirea pieselor, iar cât am așteptat să se usuce am stat la povești plăcute cu cei de acolo. Lampa e acum o experiență de la Istanbul adusă acasă ❤️Recomand și celor care călătoresc singuri 😁+ ceai și gustări bune

Really liked the workshop and totally recommend visiting it! Tasted different kind of coffees, learned the recipe of traditional Turkish coffee and fortune telling. The atmosphere was very cozy and friendly.

We had such a great time at this workshop! The setting was super cute with so many glass and decor options and the host was the best! Not only he was great at teaching us how to make the lamps but he also gave us coffee from his shop and Turkish tea - both so good! We also got to meet great people who were doing the workshop! It was probably one of my favorite experiences in Istanbul. If you’re still wondering if you should do it - DO IT! 😄

We had an amazing time making a Turkish Mosaic Lamp with Bunyamin during our recent Airbnb experience! From the moment I arrived, Bunyamin made us feel welcome and comfortable. He is a true expert in this craft, and we learned so much from him about the history and techniques of making these beautiful lamps.Bunyamin provided all the materials and tools we needed, and guided us through each step of the process with patience and encouragement. His passion for this art form is contagious, and we felt inspired by his enthusiasm and creativity.The end result was a stunning mosaic lamp that I am proud to display in my home. Thank you, Bunyamin, for a wonderful Airbnb experience!

One of the best experiences I had when visiting Istanbul. There are many similar workshops, but the treatment and the beautiful atmosphere in the place are not found in any other workshop. Also Benjamin helped us to get to the place, he is very nice. I highly recommend

L’esperienza è molto bella e tipica, vieni dotato di tutto il materiale in loco e la decorazione è fattibile per tutti, anche per i meno esperti. I ragazzi host sono molto disponibili, inoltre è molto bello scambiare informazioni e storie con gli altri partecipanti dalle altre parti del mondo, noi eravamo in 5. Uno dei ragazzi ci ha anche accompagnato a fine esperienza ad alcuni mercatini vintage della zona, è stato davvero gentilissimo. Raccomando assolutamente questa esperienza!!

Owning a Turkish lamp has been on my radar for several years. When I stumbled upon this workshop there was no way we could pass up the opportunity to design a lamp ourselves. This is a great experience with step-by-step instruction on how to apply the colorful glass to the lamp. An excellent keepsake for which we will always remember our trip to Istanbul and time with Bunyamin and Ali and our friends that day!

This is by far the best thing we did in Istanbul! Bunyamin was a very interesting, smart and well travelled man who was kind, helpful and very accommodating.He helped us get from the meeting point to the workshop with no issues, he gave us some local coffee and tasty biscuits!The actual experience was incredible, we had so much fun and learnt alot from Bunyamin, the process is therapy and was made even better knowing you are walking away with something local and handmade by you!The information he gave before starting was also a nice touch and gave a little more background on the lamps.5* Would recommend to everyone and anyone!!

Great workshop. No point in buying Turkish lamps - go to this workshop instead! You'll get to design your own lamps - and unleash your creativity. Plus you'll remember this experience for as long as you have the lamp- likely lifelong. Would definitely recommend.

I booked this experience as a surprise treat for my partner, and man, were we both surprised by how fun lamp making is! Bunyamin started with a bit of history about turkish lamps, provided the material for the activity and let us go crazy with our creativity. He was extremely friendly and hospitable. The coffee and snacks were great. Bunyamin himself was a great companion for the event. We also got lucky with our workshop-mates who were super fun! I amcurrently recommending this to all my friends in town.My only feedback is about the quality of the upgraded hanging lamp-stand which does not hold the weight of the lamp. Considering that we paid 10USD extra for it, I wish it had more stability.Overall, adipoli aayirunnu! Kore chirichu, kore kaapi adichu, kore adichu polichu.
