I would say this is a must-do while in Istanbul! I'm so glad I signed up because I learned just how much coffee plays a role in Turkish culture. There's a reason why Turkish coffee and culture was named on UNESCO's list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Plus Bunyamin teaches you how to make coffee like his grandmother and you get your own coffee making kit to take home! The coffee fortune telling was a fun bonus to this experience. The entire workshop is so thoughtfully delivered and the host goes above and beyond in making sure you always have something to drink and are comfortable.

Turkish Coffee Making work shop is must when u are in Istanbul..it's Not just about Coffee but is more about the culture n history.Mustafa was a great Barista/Teacher he knew his stuff well,me and my wife enjoyed the whole process..not to forget the fortune telling too.Highly recommended!!

Von Beginn bis zum Ende, habe ich mich sehr willkommen gefühlt. Bunyamin kümmert sich um dich nicht nur wie ein Kunde sondern wie ein Freund, der dir seine Kultur und Sicht der Dinge erklären möchte. Ich habe mich selten so wohl gefühlt in einer Umgebung und habe dazu auch noch eine wunderschöne Lampe bekommen, die ich selbst gemacht habe. Ich kann jedem diese Entdeckung wärmstens empfehlen.

I definitely recommend this experience. There was a nice environment. There were many beautiful color options and Bünyamin helped us while choosing. Everything was very well organized and we designed our lamp very easily. After everything was finished, they offered us tea and we waited for it to dry. I’ve made not only an experience, but also a friend. Thank you for everything.

Must do once-in-a-lifetime experience. Bünyamin welcomed us very warmly. The experience started with a presentation. Then Bünyamin guided us as we made our own design. There were more than 30 color options and they were all prepared well. We felt very comfortable while making our lamp. In the end they packed it nicely and I had no problems taking it home. I had a pleasure of participating in traditional mosaic lamps making workshop and experience in Uskudar, Istanbul. Since I booked with my friends from Istanbul, as locals we were very interested to see the presentations - and all of us left the workshops happy and with our own unique lamps! The warm lighting and comfortable seating arrangements fostered a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The staff's friendly and attentive service added to the informal yet respectful vibe in the space. It was such a marvellous way to spend time with your friends, while meeting new people from all over the world!

I cannot recommend this mosaic lamp experience enough! It was truly one of the most enjoyable and enlightening activities I've ever taken part in.Not only was it incredibly enjoyable, but we also gained a wealth of knowledge. Our guide, Bunyamin, was fantastic, sharing his personal experiences to make the event even more engaging and personalized. Me and my friend made a colorful lamp for our house and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul.

Fun and authentic experience and really cool that you get to take home something you make. Bunyamin prepared a template of mosaic patterns, 30+ colors of mosaics and many containers of different colored beads for the lamp, and then I learned how to adhere them to the glass bulb. I’m really happy with how the lamp turned out and am super excited to use my lamp at home.

I am delighted to say that this experience was hands down my favorite activity in Istanbul so far! From start to finish, everything was simply outstanding. Communication was excellent, and Bunyamin even went out of his way to meet us on the European side of the city and transport us quickly to the Asian side. The host was incredibly friendly, and the workshop had a fantastic atmosphere. When we arrived, everything was ready and waiting for us to dive right in. Bunyamin gave us an overview of the history of the lamps and then showed us how to make them - but the best part was that we were free to express our creativity in any way we wanted (all while sipping delicious coffee or tea, of course!). This experience was an excellent opportunity to tap into our inner artists and create a unique and meaningful Turkish souvenir. Overall, I absolutely loved every moment of it and highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Istanbul.

The Turkish lamp workshops provided the group with informative insight into the interactions of art, culture, and identity of one of the oldest art and craft practices in this hectic contemporary world. I had a slight fear that my lapm will end up discovering my non-art personality, but with the overall interactive vibe of the presentation and genuine help of the instructor I actually ended up with the new interior design addition for my living room. Big thanks to Fabri team for evoking the inner artist in me!

All the recommendations for this traditional Turkish coffee making experience! The aroma of freshly brewed coffee enhanced the sensory experience, making me feel relaxed and like at home. I especially enjoyed and laughed a lot in the last chapter of the workshop - future telling from the little tiny Turkish cup! It was awesome!

Stained glass workshop encouraged creativity and innovation while honoring the time-honored practices of our ancestors. As an only Turkish participant in my group and art student I arrived to this workshop with high expectations and I am happy to share that all of them were more then met! My first stained glass piece is decorating my office table since! Tesekurrler Istanbul!

The newest addition to the workshop program, the stained glass souvenir making workshop, offered us a hands-on experience in creating stunning and personalized souvenirs inspired by Turkish art and design. Overall, Fabrikafa Make and Coffee provided a one-of-a-kind opportunity to engage with Turkey's cultural heritage in a creative and interactive way! We loved this place and after experiencing 2 different workshop, Fabri is now one of our favourite chill cafes on Asian side.
