I participated alone, but it was a very meaningful experience. I would definitely like to try this again when I come to Turkey. I would also like to recommend this experience to friends who are visiting Turkey.

It’s a small group activity in a nice Cafe setting. The organiser would got in touch to give clear options of accessing the venue. Our instructor Mustafa is very nice and explains everything clearly and guides us through the whole process. Drinks and refreshments are on the house and unlimited. You can use the motif provided or unleash your creativity and in the end you got to take home your beautiful design as well as a nicely printed certificate. There is also a stained glass painting workshop and I would definitely try that when we visit Istanbul the next time. Thank you Mustafa and all the lovely staff!

Ali was an amazing instructor. He was kind, engaging, funny, and patient. We’d highly recommend going to this workshop. Plus, the kittens were an added bonus.

Отлично провели время! Азиз хорошо объяснял, что делать. Был небольшой интересный рассказ про историю мозаики в Турции. В результате у нас получился настоящий уютный светильник, который можно поставить дома.

The workshop was a lot of fun, and perhaps our favorite touristy activity in Istanbul! Our guide, Aziz, was very friendly and kind. On the way to their workshop he answered all our questions about Istanbul and gave us ideas on what to visit. The workshop itself was a wonderful experience too. We learned about the history of the lamps and Aziz helped us with everything we asked about. We had a great time and we get to bring home wonderful souvenirs. Way more valuable than had we just bought Turkish lamps in a shop! We wish we could have joined their glass painting workshop too, but sadly we ran out of time. Highly recommended!

It was a perfect experience and very nice company. Really liked the experience. Good value for money. The staff was very nice, and spoke perfect English. It took about 2,5 hours and you could drink all the tea and coffee that you would like. Perfect way to spend the afternoon, will recommend everyone to take a cosy afternoon to make some beautiful mosiac glass panes.

What a lovely way to spend part of a day in Istanbul! The activity was informative, creative, and meditative. Our guides were lovely and attentive. I would absolutely recommend this for anyone visiting Istanbul.

Alle waren super nett und hilfsbereit. Es gab sogar einen extra Übersetzer für uns und man wurde abgeholt und ist zusammen mit den andern Teilnehmern dort hin. Es hat ca. 2std gedauert wonach es 1std trocknen musste wo uns die netten Leute tolle Restaurants empfohlen haben für die Wartezeit. Außerdem hat man viel über die Stadt und die Glasmalerei erfahren. Ich kann es nur jedem empfehlen ein muss wenn man in Istanbul ist !!

This workshop is one you don’t want to miss. Our guide, Aziz, had amazing energy, enthusiasm and character. Everything was beautifully organised, presented and ran smoothly. We are very thankful that we have this incredible memory to remember ☺️😊

An excellent activity for a rainy day in Istanbul. Ali and the team were fantastic hosts and we were looked after very well from start to finish. It is great that we are able to take a handmade souvenir home with us, with the added bonus of knowing we made it! I would highly recommend it.

Great experience from start to finish. Ali was informative and I cannot wait to take the knowledge I have gained back to my home country. It was a delight being able to be immersed into the Turkish culture and traditions. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting İstanbul.

Really fun activity, a great way to spend a rainy afternoon. The staff were great, very helpful and we really loved the experience.

Two friends and I attended the stained glass workshop yesterday and we were so impressed! The location in Uskudar is in an interesting area with many restaurants and coffee shops around and very easy to find by public transportation. Our teacher Eda was knowledgeable and patient and English translation was available to help us communicate when needed. Painting our designs was very relaxing! We all loved the way our designs turned out and want to come back again soon! The workshop lasts about two hours and in the hour where we waited for our pieces to dry, we visited a nearby restaurant and then came back to pick them up. Such a fun afternoon! Highly recommended.

The stained glass painting was so much fun! Our hoca (teacher) Eda was lovely, so talented, and really helpful while we worked on our project. The entire team at Istanbul Workshops was really cool and friendly. I would actually go back and do this activity again, I enjoyed it so much!

maravillosa! un súper plan si vienen a Estambul a la zona asiática. Un lugar increíble, con personas muy atentas. Nos encantó la experiencia.

El instructor fue muy agradable con nosotros, nos acompañó hasta el lugar desde un punto de encuentro y nos hizo muy amena y satisfactoria la experiencia. Nos dio consejos más de allá de la actividad. La recomendaría sin dudarlo :)

Der Workshop war eine sehr schöne Erfahrung, die Abholung am vereinbarten Treffpunkt mit Mustafa hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Angekommen in der Fabrika wurde uns alles genau erklärt und dann konnten wir auch schon die Lampen nach unserer eigenen Ideen verzieren. Es gab Kaffee und Tee so viel man wollte. Die Lampen sind sehr schön geworden und funktionieren einwandfrei. Würde den Workshop auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.
