Absolutely loved it. Thank you so much to Mustafa. He really outdid himself with his customer service skills. He waited to meet us at a collection point and helped with directions for the way back. Such a honest young man. The workshop himself he explained everything so well and we have come out of the workshop with two beautiful mosaic lamps. Thank you so much Mustafa.

Lost for something to do with an afternoon I booked this traditional stained glass painting workshop on a whim. But I’m so glad I did. It truly was the highlight of my trip to Istanbul. The class itself is great but the people make it exceptional. Ali (who owns the café which hosts the workshop), helped me to the venue, he was incredibly friendly and was more than happy to offer advice on hidden gems in the city, as well as good conversation. The café itself is a gem, up a small street the interior and partially covered garden is like an oasis from the hustle and bustle of the city. Eda ran the class. She was very knowledgeable about the history of Istanbul and the art of stained glass, which gave context to the activity. She was always on hand to help, and was incredibly welcoming. Both Eda and Ali made me feel like part of the family. The tea and biscuites flowed throughout the session and there were lots of laughs. I came away with a new skill, a broad smile, and a great souvenir.

I promised my family an authentic Turkish coffee-making experience, and thanks to Aziz, I was able to keep my promise. Apart from learning how to make coffee, we were also informed about the historical events that led to the current culture and tradition of coffee consumption. Loved the way the workshop is designed. I would 10/10 recommend you to go for it, if you wish to experience the culture and tradition of Turkish coffee.

Great workshop and a lot of fun, the guys who took the workshop were really friendly and so helpful! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Istanbul who loves turkish lamps. Great value for money also.

We LOVED this workshop, even more than we thought we would! It was interesting, fun, interactive, & tasty! Everyone was really nice, our instructor was awesome, the place is super cute/cozy, & the items used/take home gift were nice quality! DEFINITELY recommend :)

Ali and Eda were amazing. These extremely friendly and kind. They really showed me how good Turkish hospitality is. The staining glass workshop was very engaging and it was a relaxing activity to do. Many choices of Istanbul iconic monuments that could be drawn on the glass which makes it a very unique souvenir to take home to remember the trip in this spectacular city. I recommend everyone coming to Istanbul to participate in this activity.

Aziz was a fantastic teacher. He was very charismatic and engaging in the lesson. I learnt a lot about Turkish culture and customs and it was really fun. The coffee making process was amazing and we also got to try different typical Turkish coffees. The gift at the end was beautiful. I definitely recommend this workshop anyone coming to Istanbul to learn more about the Turkish people but also have fun.

Brilliant really good fun either as a group or on your own. From 4 years to 99 years. The 4 year old in our group was brilliant and loved her lamp, better than the adults. Would defo go again highly recommend it. Mustafa was lovely very easy to talk to just a lovely lad

It was a great time in the company of good people. We have some interesting experience making Turkish coffee and are looking forward to putting it into practice at home.

Der Workshop war einfach unglaublich!! Ich würde von so großzügigen und lieben Menschen empfangen und habe unglaublich viel über die türkische Kultur erfahren. Die Workshop-Leiter waren unglaublich herzlich und freundlich und haben sich so viel Zeit für mich genommen, haben all meine Fragen beantwortet und sichergestellt, dass ich mich wohl fühle. Außerdem wurde man die ganze Zeit mit Tee, türkischem Kaffee und Keksen versorgt. Durch den Workshop hat man die Möglichkeit, mit anderen Touristen, aber auch mit Einheimischen in Kontakt zu kommen und dadurch unglaublich viel von der Kultur und dem Leben in Istanbul zu erfahren. Ich empfehle auf jeden Fall jedem, einen der Workshops zu machen!!!

Really informative and fun. Aziz are guide was nice, funny, and knowledgeable. The parting gift was a nice end to the activity.

Mustafa mødt os ved check point og følgt os til asiatisk side med tog. Mustafa var meget venlig, snakkesalig og har forklaret mange historiske ting på vejen til værksted. Han var meget hjælpsom under hele processen. Vi fik Turkish kafe, Tea and småkage. Slut resultat af lampen var rigtig flot. jeg vil anbefale denne værksted. alle der arbejder der var venlige mennesker.

Excellent. You MUST do this when visiting Istanbul. The people are AMAZING, the activity is relaxing and you get to really listen and engage with locals. The souvenir you take home is also wonderful. I highly recommend the activity. Mustafa was lovely and so was Ali. Excellent service and I wish them the best.

Great experience , definitely recommend to everyone . Small little coffee place with workshop , amazing . Aziz and the other staff were great and he kindly met up at a checkpoint and took us to the workshop . 10/10 Rejwan

It was the first time visiting Istanbul and this workshop made our travel way more exciting and memorable. The only thing better than the coffee were the people we met and guided us towards this venture with patience and dedication. Would recommend this to everyone visiting Istanbul. :)

It was a good, relaxing activity. So much fun to do with children as well as adults.

Super friendly guide and a super fun activity

Очень понравился мастер-класс! Лампу украшали с 11-летним сыном. Азиз (приятный молодой человек, хорошо говорит по-русски) встретил нас у метро в европейской части Стамбула, и мы вместе с ним поехали в азиатскую часть. Уютное кафе с живой кошкой, очень теплая и творческая атмосфера. У всех получились красивые и неповторимые лампы. Лампа теперь нас радует в Москве и напоминает об этом чудесном мастер-классе. С удовольствием рекомендую!
