Het was allemaal heel goed geregeld. We kregen 2 opties: of zelf naar de locatie komen voor als je al in Uskudar was, of afspreken voor Hafiz Mustafa Sirkeci waar je werd opgehaald en samen naar de locatie ging. Toen we daar aankwamen werden we warm ontvangen. We moesten even wachten maar dat kon gelukkig in het café wat ze er hebben. Na en paar minuten konden we beginnen. Mustafa heeft alles heel duidelijk, rustig en op een erg leuke manier verteld. Verder was hij erg vriendelijk, open en warmhartig. Ondanks dat je als totaal vreemden van elkaar begon, kwam er gedurende de workshop toch wel een klik met de anderen die ook de workshop volgen. Als je ergens tegenaan loopt dan wordt er van alle kanten geholpen. Ja je kan een mozaïek lamp ook gewoon ergens kopen maar waarom zou je dat doen als je het ook zelf kan maken en een ervaring rijker wordt? Al met al is het een enorme aanrader! Kom zeker nog eens terug.

In summary: a great experience! We really enjoyed the workshop (man & woman). The pick-up service was in time, the guide spoke excellent English and was really competent. Also the location was lovely and the parfum equipment was high quality! Try it, we had a lot of fun

The workshop was so much fun and the lamps turned out way better than expected. It was exiting to travel to the Asian side of Istanbul and our guide was really friendly and helpful. It’s definitely great value for money! I’d recommend for families and couples or even a solo date

Good activity along with kids. But difficult to locate the place though.

I joined the workshop as a solo traveller and it was one of the best things I’ve done while in Istanbul. Everyone was lovely in our small group and Mustafa and the team’s patience and guidance made this a truly special experience. It was incredibly relaxing and the café where the workshop took place was a real gem. We were offered Turkish tea/coffee, biscuits and Turkish delight. Making the lamp with your own hands is just so much more special than buying one from the markets.

The workshop is excellent. Ali is a true professional in guiding you throughout to make your own unique fragrance. You are taken care of throughout the process with nice coffee and cookies and in the end you walk away with your own, unique in the world fragrance! Highly recommend the workshop to anyone who enjoys perfumes and fragrances, or just go by to have coffee!

Very fun and engaging activity where you have more than enough time to create you own perfume that you want. They over 60 different ingredients to choose from which you can try out to make what you want. Very nice atmosphere and located in Üsküdar, which is such beautiful place to visit in Istanbul, plenty off things to do on the same day. Definitely recommend you make a day out of it when there as there is so much to do! Thank you to Ali who was the host of the perfume making who explained everything so simply and was always there to help when you needed it. Was very knowledgeable on the science behind perfume making as well. Would definitely recommend this experience to everyone as we all want to smell nice!!!

Azziz is a very dynamic and friendly guide who provided thorough information about coffee history and preparation with nice anecdotes. The gift (cezve and nicely decorated cup) is much appreciated. Overall, an excellent experience, thanks!

It was a fun experience. Great history knowledge and the most important thing? You actually get to know how to make a traditional Turkish coffee step by step.

I had so much fun with Eda !! It was only me in the workshop, but Eda was so kind and patient while she taught me how to paint stained glass. The workshop itself is so much fun and i would definitely come back and do it again. The staff are all so welcoming and make sure you’re comfortable the whole time. I’d definitely recommend this activity- 100%. Thank you for having me !!
