If this is your first time in Istanbul, you should really try this experience. Bunyamin was super friendly and we learned a lot about the culture of Turkish coffee making. The best part is the fortune telling session after making the coffee😍

This workshop was a surprise for my boyfriend birthday and it went much better than I expected. The host was very funny, Bunyamin told us great stories about Turkish coffee and the culture of drinking it. I didn’t ask for it but the host and his team made a small surprise for my boyfriend: a cake with candles which was a very nice and thoughtful touch! We also got to see the area of Istanbul that we wouldn’t otherwise see due to the location of this experience. Very special and memorable, chilled experience. Such experiences are dependent on the host and here I would say that the host really made it a core memory for us!

Alles war perfekt organisiert, wir haben viel über die Geschichte, Zubereitung und Kultur rund um den Türkischen Kaffee erfahren und zusätzlich noch tolle Tipps für den restlichen Aufenthalt in Istanbul bekommen. Bünyamin hat eine sehr herzliche Art und leitet den Kurs mit Begeisterung. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Fun way to learn about Turkish coffee, the story behind it, cultural context and how to make it. Our host Bunyamin's really helpful, meeting point location is clear and easy to find, and the coffee house is in a nice wooden house. Great experience!

A unique and remarkable experience. The experience provided by Bunyamin is by far one that we will always remember from our trip to Istanbul. He picked us up to make sure we didn’t miss the address of the workshop and was very pleasant to talk while going there. He even gave us additional tips on how to get around Istanbul and references of good places to go. The care and dedication provided through the workshop was mesmerizing. He gave meaningful information about history, culture and society around coffee, information that makes you connect easily with the topic. The hands-on preparation of your own coffee was another key element to appreciate the experience. The fortune telling part was super interesting, as its also part of the coffee culture in Turkey, and that we enjoyed a lot. Overall, this experience is something I would recommend to anyone visiting Istanbul alone, as a couple, or with a group of friends.

Such an amazing experience. Bunyamin met with me at a very convenient location and then took me to the coffee house for the experience. On the way he told me many facts about the city. He was very knowledgeable and showed me a detailed PowerPoint filled with information about Turkish coffee. He showed me how to make a cup, and then we chatted while it settled. Then we drank the cup we made and talked about how people will read their fortunes from it. He said that people do not take it seriously, more as a fun conversation starter between friends. I learned so much and when I was leaving he gave me the materials to make a cup of Turkish coffee at home. I can’t wait to show my family how to do it. I asked for some recommendations at the end, and he provided me with many! Overall, such an amazing time! He was passionate and I’d recommend this to everyone!

Benyamin was excellent. He kindly picked us up from our hotel and took us on the ferry to the coffee shop. Very informative and pleasant. Definitely recommend him.

This was a really cool experience. Benyamin was a great host, he was super communicative and made the whole thing fun and educational. We have a new greater appreciation for Turkish coffee and hospitality after this experience. He even allowed us to take some cool content for social media and helped us interpret our coffee grounds fortunes! If you’re looking for something authentic and memorable, this is it.

Meine Schwester und ich hatten hier eine unglaublich tolle Erfahrung. Es ist die beste Möglichkeit in die Kaffekultur der Türkei eintauchen zu können. Wer nicht nur eine klassische Sightseeingtour machen möchte, sollte definitiv hier her kommen. Wir hatten sehr viel Spaß und haben vorallem was -vielleicht auch über unsere eigene Zukunft- gelernt.

이스탄불에 짧은 시간 머물게 되어서 무엇을 할까 고민 중에, 생각지도 못한 너무나 재미있는 커피 수업을 발견했어요! 다른 친구들은 가는 길이 멀다며 불평했지만, 저는 덕분에 아시아 사이드도 구경하고, 또 이스탄불 지하철 이용하는 법도 겸사겸사 같이 배울 수 있어서 더 좋았던 것 같아요. 알고보니 커피 맛집! 같이 튀르키쉬 카흐베도 만들어보면서 관련된 문화나 역사도 같이 배울 수 있어서 더욱 재미있었던 것 같아요. 수업이 끝나고는 카흐베 세트도 선물로 주셨는데, 집에 가서 엄마랑 커피 만들어 먹으려구요ㅎ.ㅎ 이스탄불에 놀러오는 여행객들에게 이 커피 수업을 추천합니다 😄😄😄

Bünyamin is a very kind and open person! It was not just about the process of making and preparing Turkish Coffee, he also prepared a presentation and a bit of history about Turkish coffee culture. After the workshop he recommended some places to go if I wanna buy more accessories to make coffee like a traditional grinder. I really can't complain, it was totally worth it!

If you want to learn how to make basic Turkish coffee and a short history of it then this experience is for you. They seem to be very knowledgeable about their coffee. Plus you get a certificate and a Turkish coffee-making set.

It is great experience! Bunyamin is very thoughtful and easy to talk with. Very frdly! Also the cafe place is cool and a good chance to explore the asian side of Istanbul. Plus! Coffee reading is a fun process! Definitely recommend to do this in the trip~~

The coffee experience exceeded our expectations. We did not only learn a lot about the Turkish coffee history, but we even got a coffee certificate and our own coffee set. Bunyamin, the host, was amazing. He gave us also a lot of tips for our stay in Istanbul

the experience was top-notch! Bunyamin is one awesome human 🦸‍♀️The structure of the workshop is pretty straight-forward, you learn about the history+ a few fun facts about the coffee culture in Turkey, make coffee, drink coffee, fortune-tell. We overstayed our welcome a bit, Bunyamin had absolutely zero issues with that 😎
