Paja oli todella hauska. Meillä oli vaikeuksia löytää paikka, koska seurasimme GetYourGuiden ohjeita ja olisi pitänyt seurata sähköpostissa järjestäjältä saamiamme ohjeita. Pajan ohjaaja oli mukava ja avulias. Saimme tehdä omat mosaiikkikuviot lamppuihin vapaasti, mosaiikkipaloja oli paljon valittavana. Sai tehdä valmiin mallin tai oman tahdon mukaan. Lampuista tuli kauniita. Teetä, vettä ja kahvia sai juoda. Mukava kahvila muutenkin.

It was truly a most delightful, educational and fun experience - there is something for everyone. From learning about the history of Turkish coffee, to grinding the beans for your brew, to reading your fortune, it is a thorough and engaging workshop. Ali, our tutor, is very knowledgeable and catering for all guests. And his colleagues are kind and generous, enriching the experience. Highly recommend !

We had a great an amazing time building these lamps. They are both something my fiancé and I now have to share our experiences!

Such a fantastic, local experience. Highly recommend this experience if you really want to get a small crash course in local culture on top of getting to try some Turkish coffee - both hosts were extremely helpful and it was a very fun class.

Really enjoyed the small group workshop! Lovely free tea and coffee, and great host who gave us great instructions and guidance. Maybe slightly expensive but a fun souvenir & experience!

Wir waren nur zu zweit, trotzdem oder gerade daher haben wir sehr viel über die türkische Kaffeekultur gelernt, alles in einem schönen, modernen, lockeren und offenen Setting. Wunderschöne Location und dazu unglaublich höfliche, freundliche und engagierte Mitarbeiter. Es geht weit mehr um den Kaffee als um das Wahrsagen. Dadurch bleibt der Workshop ausgewogen und macht allen Spaß. Eine absolute Empfehlung. Wir sind selbstständig an den Veranstaltungsort gereist, unser Guide hat sich dabei ausführlich versichert, dass wir keine Hilfe benötigen. Wir sind mehr als zufrieden !!! :)

Really great activity to do while in turkey. Advice: make sure you look at some ready made lanterns in the bazaar before you go. We left space between tiles and would’ve looked better without spaces. Host was a lovely lady and very good with my 6 year old son. Only small niggle is the lamp was smaller than I was expecting. But would’ve cost more if had they been bigger so don’t mind.

Ali war mehr als zuvorkommend und freundlich, der Workshop war von Anfang bis Ende gut organisiert, toll gestaltet und verständlich aufgebaut. Ein MUSS für alle kreativen Menschen :) die Ergebnisse werden wundervoll, auch bei Motiven, bei denen man zuvor unsicher war. Das Angebot ist mehr als günstig und sein Geld absolut wert. Eine herzliche Empfehlung 🤗 Wer schlecht zu Fuß ist sollte die Option wählen selbst (zB mit dem Taxi) anzureisen, wenn man sich auf dem europäischen Teil abholen lässt muss man ein kleines Stück (ca. 4km) mit dem Guide zurücklegen. In unserer Gruppe hat der Guide aber auch viel Rücksicht auf eine Teilnehmerin mit Krücken genommen.

So amazing one of the best things I’ve done in Istanbul, the guide was so friendly and the lamps came out amazing!

We had an amazing experience led by Benjamin.. he collected us from the European side and took us to his workshop area on the Asian side. He was very friendly and approachable and happy to answer any questions we had. We had a nice wander around and lunch nearby and then collected our lamps and made our own way back to the European side. Very relaxed and calm atmosphere to have some creative fun and a wonderful personal souvenir and memory to take home. Thank you so much Benjamin!
