Our chocolate workshop is a quiet place, just a few steps from the busy Spicy Market. It is inside a lovely café. Here, you can relax, be creative, and learn about Istanbul's history in a fun way.
From the moment you arrive, you’ll be greeted with the warm, welcoming hospitality our guests rave about. Settle in with Turkish Tea and Chocolate Tea as we begin our journey.
First, we will share a story about our historic neighborhood. Many years ago, this area was a famous stop on the Spice Route, where traders brought special goods from all over the world. The smell of spices is still in the air from the nearby Spice Bazaar. Today, you will work with another special treasure: cacao.
Our expert chocolate maker will guide you with easy, step-by-step instructions. You will learn the secret of making chocolate from the cacao bean. We will show you how to get that perfect, glossy snap in your chocolate. Then, you can be creative and decorate your own special bars. It is a fun and relaxing activity, and you do not need any experience to join.
You'll leave with more than just chocolate; you'll leave with a story. Your handcrafted creations will be beautifully packaged, creating a unique and delicious memory of Istanbul made by you.

We had a brilliant time! Our host stayed with us throughout the experience, translating all the information and instructions from the chocolatier. I have a nut allergy and they were able to make substitutions for everything so I didn't miss out. The people were all very friendly and we had lovely chocolates to take home at the end.Marco
