Bunyamin is an absolute gem! He is so sweet and accommodating and I had a great time completing my mosaic lamp which I am obsessed with and can’t wait to take home! Yusuf met me at the European meet up point to get there and it was pretty quick and easy.The location is really cool, it’s in an indoor/outdoor coffee shop with really great decor and vibes. Would highly recommend :)

Wonderful workshop and the lanterns turned out beautifully. The course leader was engaged and helpful the whole time. The snacks were great. It took me about an hour and a half but I do work very quickly so it was nice that everyone could work at their own pace. Workshop highly recommended!!

I strongly recommend this experience for anyone who’s curious about Turkish coffee culture. Had an amazing time and learned a lot!

Mosaic lamp making seemed so unusual and so Turkish my daughter and I had to do it. The hosts are extremely kind and gracious. We got a little lost going in and a selfie in front of a nearby restaurant got Bunyamin to us in minutes. Nice conversation as he personally escorted us to the workshop. The making of the lamp is not difficult at all. Color variety of the mosaics was enough to satisfy without being overwhelming. We usually don’t finish activities like this but the time was perfect and chatting with other participants was an added pleasure. This was so easy, unique, and well priced we highly recommend adding it to your list of things to do to wind down after traveling when you first arrive or as a relaxing activity after days of physically draining sightseeing.

This was a great experience and it was a lot of fun however it was very hot at the workshop and they didn’t provide transportation on the way back which was inconvenient. They also only had European plugs when we asked for American ones. The guide was great

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed this experience, great fun absolutely amazing atmosphere and the cafe was so well priced, best prices we'd seen in Istanbul for good food. The lamp making itself was a lot of fun and it makes you appreciate the craft a lot more, met some great people and Alaina was such a fantastic teacher. 10/10 would recommend to anyone on the fence about visiting this place!! Great people and good vibes. (there's also very very very very very cute cats!)

Really fun arts and crafts experience. Our guide Aleyna was super helpful in picking us up to take to the workshop. After a brief introduction to the history of Turkish Mosaic Lamps by Aleyna, we were given free time to design and make our own lamps. Overall a very nice ambiance and setting to chat with other guests while crafting something with our hands. Time passes by really quickly. In the end you also have a nice little souvenir to bring back home.Highly recommend if you are looking for something fun and relaxing to do in Istanbul that isn't another museum or sightseeing activity.

Me and my friend has a wonderful time finding out about the history of Turkish coffee. We were so pleasantly surprised by the different coffees. And the fortune telling was great fun. Would recommend!

The workshop was amazing, me and my friend were grateful for a chance to do something creative with the narration of a local. It was fun and Bunyamin was a great guy. Would recommend!

This was such a great experience! Bunyamin makes it so convenient by offering a couple meetup spots, to then take us to his workshop. It’s in such a quaint location! This is workshop was a nice little getaway from my getaway :)

Really really good workshop with a huge variety of coloured pieces for us to use. The host is really nice and helpful and encourage us to come up our own designs of the lamp. We also got some snacks with Turkish coffee and tea (which was delicious too). Would definitely recommend anyone who is interested in some hands on activities to try this workshop.

Absolutely loved this fun and creative workshop that catered to artistic and non artsy folks! My husband and I did this as a cute date together while in Istanbul and had a lot of fun! Benjamin / Bunyamin was great and broke it down so easily for us. He let us get right into it watching and guiding us along the way. Loved the personalised touches like putting on our own music, and some sweet treats and coffee as we walked in to the cafe. I love my finished product and would totally recommend this to everyone! It’s so much more special to bring home a mosaic lamp you made VS buying one!

We did the coffee making and fortune telling workshop with bunyamin. While we appreciate the small gifts the host presented we were very disappointed at the presentation. The presentation was super long and not engaging at all. The materials were stretched over one hour but it was really 15 minutes worth of material. The experience was only 1.5 hours (not 2hours as advertised). There was no fortune telling and they asked us to do it ourselves. The coffee making part was less than 5 minutes and the rest of it was boring presentations and random YouTube videos. We are extremely dissatisfied and think the description was very misleading.

Loved this workshop! Bunyamin was such a knowledgable and engaging host, especially in relating the coffee making/fortune telling to his own family experience.
