Fantastic lamp making workshop! Our facilitator Abdullah was absolutely amazing, very personable and helpful, encouraged us to be creative and even have some suggestions for local dining spots. Facility was clean and easy to access. Price point was spectacular. Definitely a must try for a visit to Istanbul!

Bunyamin was great, the class was well organized, super engaging, and educational. we had great conversation and getting to have the coffee and then take home a coffee set was such a good value. Definitely recommend!

If you enjoy coffee and/or want to learn about Turkish culture, I highly recommend. It's more about the history of coffee and making coffee than the fortune telling but it's an enjoyable way to spend a few hours, great learning how to make Turkish coffee properly, and Bunyamin is a fantastic host! Also a really cute cat lives in the cafe.

We had a great time making friends and coffee. Ben will explain the history of coffee, the customs and culture, and how to make it as well as do the fortune telling. There's a slideshow, coffee shop, and of course you get your very own set to make some coffee and predict the future of your guests! I recommend it because it's hard to find information on this kind of stuff, and Ben is very accommodating!

We had an amazing experience with the whole team, they were super welcoming and I loved the conversations. We made our own handmade mosaik lamp wtih glass pieces and glue. In the end we walked away with a lamp and a smile on our face, amazing!

A “must” experience if you are in Istanbul.Ben was amazing sharing his culture through this workshop; also it is awesome the way he answers your doubts and teaches you new facts related to the Turkish Coffee and the powerful meaning it has for the Turkish society.

Absolute recommendation! We can only warmly recommend the workshop to everyone. It was a real highlight of our trip to Istanbul. The atmosphere is great and the guides are super nice. We were told a lot about the culture and the country and all of our questions were answered immediately. The lamps are really beautiful and it is a great experience to make them yourself. The price is absolutely great for everything that is offered. We were really well supported in everything and are very grateful for this great experience.

We had a fantastic time! Benji was knowledgeable and friendly, we got to go to the Asia side of Istanbul (wouldn’t have gone otherwise), and learned lots about Turkish coffee and the culture around it. I loved it and immediately went and bought a coffee grinder to go with our Turkish sets we got at the experience. I’ve made coffee several times already using the equipment he gave us and have had a delightful time enjoying it. Definitely recommend and great value for the price.

Thank you I had the most amazing time. This was the first time I have ever done a workshop while traveling and I will now continue to do it in other countries. I did the Turkish coffee and the stained glass workshop and it was amazing. I would 100% recommend, and I made new friends while there so what's not to like or gain.

I took both the Turkish Coffee making and the Mosaic Lamp making workshops, and I would recommend to anyone, it's a must do when you're visiting Istanbul. Aziz and Ezma (I'm so sorry if I misspelled your name) were fantastic. The Turkish coffee and fortune telling workshop have an insightful background into the history of Turkish Coffee and the fortune telling portion was a very fun insight into Turkish culture itself. The Mosaic Turkish lamp class was very straightforward, you have a template and jars of colored glass and you just go for it. They were very patient with me even though I took a very long time with my project, which I was grateful for. 1000/10 would recommend

I absolutely loved every minute of this workshop! I was so excited when I booked it and it didn’t disappoint. I made a beautiful mosaic lamp and met cool people from all kinds of backgrounds. Our host, Ali, was very friendly and knowledgable and guided us through the lamp making process. If you’re heading to istanbul, don’t miss out on this workshop! 10/10 recommend! :)

A wonderful, enchanting time with the family here. Don't know why it took me so long to book! Of course, there are plenty options for coffee-making and fortune-telling in Istanbul— but none with the same authenticity and thoughtfulness displayed here. The free cezve gifts, guides and pamphlets, the slideshow, the set-up and lovely venue? Can't get this anywhere else. Was magical, was hilarious, was seriously educational: all in one. Thanks for making our trip, Bunyamin!

Benjamin offered to meet up and guide me to his workshop which was so helpful. The space was cozy and his presentation was very informative. He was personable and we actually shared a wonderful lunch afterwards. Grateful for the new friendship and can’t wait to read my friends fortunes with my new Turkish coffee making set!

Amazing experience, you should all try it the cost is affordable for everyone and gave you back such a the great value. Come on, who know when you will have another chance to be in Istanbul in a cozy location with coffee smell, learning about history of the Turkish coffee and fortune. 100% recommended

Cute cafe, fun experience

I did this experience with my girlfriend and we both really enjoyed our time with Bunyamin and the other guests on the experience. Personally, I am not a huge coffee drinker but thoroughly enjoyed learning about Turkish coffee and its origins! We both enjoyed the atmosphere of the class which was held in an actual cafe, we don't remember her name, but she was a great assistant as it was her first time doing the coffee presentation. Both her and Bunyamin were very insightful, as well as helpful. We were treated to tea after and got to meet the cafe owner. We recommend this unique experience to anyone in Istanbul!

Very uniquely experience on the Anatolian side of Istanbul. We met at a nice little cafe and went through a detailed history lesson about Turkish coffee, its origins and the cultural significance etc. I got to make my own Turkish Coffee and read patterns of the grounds as locals would do. Benyamin was very friendly and professional throughout. I would highly recommend it to those who are interested in learning more about Turkish coffee.
