From the moment we arrived, the warmth and genuine smiles of the workshop team made us feel at home. The workshop leader, in addition to being an expert in her craft, was exceptionally helpful, offering personalized guidance throughout the session.
What really distinguished this experience was the generosity extended to us. In addition to the artistic exploration, we were treated to a delicious array of local delicacies and teas, which added an authentic flavor to our stay in Istanbul. Ali, one of the workshop guides, not only enriched our experience with wise recommendations, but became a trusted friend, sharing his extensive knowledge of the city and its cultural treasures.
Overall, the glass painting workshop provided us with not only a creative outing, but also a deep immersion into Istanbul's rich tapestry of art and hospitality.Amazing experience !!! It came up to one of the biggest highlights of my trip to Istanbul. We went with my parents and all of us enjoyed it so much. We felt like were visiting our old friends as they explained us everything and carefully helped on the way. The lamp I was able to build myself also looks nice and I could bring it with me. However the process itself was even better. Definitely recommended for everyone visiting Istanbul. I love learning the history of how these iconic country items start and this did not disappoint! We had a very fun time learning and making our own Turkish Coffee and even walked away with a goodie bag to take home to make our own!Excellent introduction to Turkish coffee making (and fortune telling) in a lovely space with knowledgeable and friendly guide. Great fun.What a wonderful experience! I highly recommend this on your next trip to Istanbul! Not only was Bunyamin kind and thoughtful, he had great stories, and we learned so much. The café is warm and inviting, and the added bonus of the Turkish coffee making kit was wonderful. And if you’re lucky, you will get to meet one of the cutest kittens in all the land, whose name is Crêpe. It's such a unique experience and very personalized - you can let your creativity flow or you can get as much help or assistance as you wish with design and making the lamp. The overall process went smooth and lamps were ready to be packed during a coffee break right before I head for my flight. Ali and the team are locals passionate about sharing their culture and can provide you with bunch of insigths and recommendations for further exploration of Istanbul and you even get a certificate upon completing this workshop.This great workshop was a birthday gift for me and it was one of the best gifts I have ever gotten. The best part of it is you choose your own design and create your own unique mosaic lamp. Perfect place, inside of the old İstanbul, and the workshop is so professional. Also, the atmosphere and energy of Bünyamin are peerless. I got the swan lamp, I definitely recommend you upgrade it to the swan type. Give your creativity and productivity a chance! Bunyamin welcomed us and guided us through the design and assembly of our own unique lamps, which I was able to take home as a personalized souvenir. The workshop was well-organized, with a lively atmosphere and music, and I bonded with the other participants over our shared creative experience. We also got to select from a range of colorful glasses to add to our lamps, making each one truly unique. I highly recommend this workshop to anyone visiting Istanbul interested in traditional lamps, as you get to learn the craft and take home a unique piece. We chose this place to do lamp making - we were on the European side and the lovely Beyza picked us up from the station and took us over to the workshop on the Asian side.

The actual lamp making was so fun! You get unlimited tea, coffee and cookies whilst you’re making your lamp. Beyza kindly helped my son with his lamp which turned out superb!

I went for the coffee but stay for the conversations. First of all Bunyamin met me close to my accommodation so, I wouldn’t get lost to the coffee shop. This was so important for me because it was my first time in Istanbul. Learning how to make Turkish coffee was more than just the coffee, it was a ritual and culture. Bunyamin shared many stories about his family and culture which made me feel very comfortable. After drinking the coffee and doing to fortune reading I was allowed to make my own coffee in the coffee shop, which was a great experience. The coffee shop where the workshop takes place is very cozy and welcoming. I had the opportunity to meet cool people and learn more and the culture.We had a fantastic time at this fun and informative perfume making workshop. Ali, the instructor, is truly passionate about his craft and takes the time to provide a foundation in the art of perfume making. The session begins with an introduction to a variety of essences, which you get to smell and select to create your personalized fragrance. The whole experience was engaging, lighthearted, and easy to follow. Plus, they offer unlimited Turkish coffee, tea, and cookies throughout the workshop. Reasonably priced compare to other similar workshops in Istanbul.
By the end, we had our own custom scent in a 50ml bottle to take home, a unique and memorable souvenir from Istanbul. The venue, located inside Fabrikafa Cafe in Uskudar, is cozy and intimate, just a 10-minute walk from the ferry station on the Asian side. I really enjoyed painting a tile. The cafe is also very nice, great playlist and vibe. Our facilitator Abdullah was absolutely amazing, very personable and helpful, encouraged us to be creative and even have some suggestions for local dining spots. Facility was clean and easy to access. Price point was spectacular. There's a slideshow, coffee shop, and of course you get your very own set to make some coffee and predict the future of your guests!
