My mom and I had a fantastic time—this was truly another highlight of our trip! I've always wanted to create my own perfume, and this experience exceeded my expectations. The instructor was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, making the entire process fun, engaging, and easy to follow. The whole team was wonderful and genuinely wanted everyone to have a great experience. What impressed me most was their exceptional customer service. I accidentally booked the wrong date, and they happily accommodated the change. Then I had to reschedule again due to a conflict, and they were once again flexible, understanding, and accommodating. That level of care is rare and was greatly appreciated. The experience was unique, memorable, and so much fun. I left with a perfume I created myself and a great memory to take home. Highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for something special while traveling!

Unique experience!

We enjoyed the Turkish coffee making workshop! Our host was very friendly and helpful in teaching us the process, and it was a fun 2 hours. The activity takes place on the Asian side of Istanbul, not at the meeting point; it was really helpful that someone met us at the meeting point and showed us the way to the workshop via the metro (and paid the fare)… we had plenty of time, but be aware that you need to arrive 30 minutes earlier than the start time if you’re on the European side in order to travel to the workshop location.

The workshop leader was informative and entertaining, and the workshop was well organized and presented. The hostess was very friendly, helpful, and responsive. However, neither the activity description nor subsequent communications make clear that the activity takes place on the Asian side, which we only discovered one hour before start time, when we were quite far away on the European side. We had to scramble to figure out how to use an Istanbulkart on the fly and get to the venue, which caused a lot of undue stress. Moreover, the workshop description clearly states that participants will be given a cezve, which did not happen.

Nihal and Selin were so fantastic they were friendly chatty and knowledgeable. We had a good laugh with them while we made the lamps and they helped us to realise our ideas we had seen online. We ended up free handing our designs thanks to their help This workshop was so fun to do but the ladies running it made it special You can upgrade your lamp to the hanging design for an extra fee which I chose to do but my partner kept hers as the standard one so we have a nice mix

This workshop was good fun and our host was very sweet. However we were told that essential oils were used but in fact they were synthetic and didn't smell anything like the authentic oil. I was very disappointed, but it explains the low cost of the workshop. If 100% essential oils had been used, the cost would have been vastly more expensive. so unfortunately the finished product that I made smells cheap.

Place was lovely. The guys there make you feel appreciated and like at home. Definitely I highly recommend the experience. About the workshop, it teaches you a lot about perfume basic essences, composition, and also principles for formulation. Once there, you discover a lot of interesting people from different nationalities and cultures. Don’t waste the opportunity of having an unforgettable experience.

this was a very interesting workshop. it is quite fun, i think there were hundreds of flavours to pick from so thousands of possible combinations! the location was very chic and casual.

Fun learning all about the history of Turkish coffee and how to make it and telling fortunes. They even give you a certificate! Very fun.

The team was absolutely wonderful, with everyone being kind, professional, and welcoming—except for the coach. The trainer seemed determined to be friendly, while we were equally determined to survive the session. The funniest part? He even talked about us in Turkish with another trainee, apparently assuming we wouldn’t understand.

It was one of the coolest experiences of the trip. The space is beautiful and is located in a neighborhood on the Asian side that is very much worth a visit. The entire team was extremely attentive and friendly. Mustafa, who was our teacher, is a sweetheart. She explained everything very well and helped each person find combinations that resulted in a unique perfume. I'm looking forward to using mine and taking this special keepsake from Istanbul with me. Everything is very well thought out, and there is a huge variety of fragrances to explore. They also serve unlimited tea and coffee during the experience. 10/10

It was an amazing experience and the team was so well organised. They gave really good information for the experience and they made sure that you understand everything. Very friendly, very engaging and helpful. It was really worth it, would definitely book again !!

It was a great experience attending this workshop. Kübra, who gave the Turkish coffee demonstration, was extremely knowledgeable, spoke excellent English, and was very helpful and informative. The workshop was not only about Turkish coffee; she also shared fascinating insights into Ottoman life, culture, history, and the geography of Türkiye. The entire experience was enjoyable, engaging, and educational. I highly recommend this workshop—you will not regret it. As an added bonus, the workshop takes place in Üsküdar, which is a wonderful area to explore, with plenty of great cafés, desserts, and local food options. Come and see it for yourself!

Absolutely amazing, I’d recommend doing this to anyone who’s visiting Istanbul, the activity was so enjoyable and the instructors were wonderful, it’s also a 7 minute walk from the grand bazaar so you can do both in one day

it was so worth the experience! the staff was super nice and fun and helpful! the fact that we can bring home traditional lamps made by us is so special!

It was wonderful. Mesmerising. Solemn but uplifting. The introduction was difficult hear - a combo of poor sound quality, rapid speech and a thick accent. Don’t know if this can be improved. But the dancing (spinning) was spectacular. Find your way here for a novel, non-commercial travel experience.

The greatest experience

Definitely a MUST GO! Very nice experience in Istanbul, Nihal was so kind and so patient, gave a brief intro into Mosaic lamps and then was very good at explaining how to build it step by step, would recommend to anyone. Location is very convenient as well.
