What a great way to spend the morning, creating mosaic lamps and learning about the history behind it. It’s a great value for the money spent because you walk away with a unique souvenir. This activity took place on the Asian side of Turkey so make sure you arrive at the meeting place on the Europe side at least 30 minutes in advance.Everything was amazing in the workshop! Kadir who helped us with our transportation, Zen who was our instructor and of course the rest of the team who was always there helping us and making our experience memorable! We love our handmade lamps and they already have a place in our living room, keeping us company and reminding us what a wonderful time we had… When we come back to Istanbul we will definitely visit again the cafe and have another workshop! The friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff are the biggest highlight but also the end product is such good quality for the price. This workshop will turn a tourist into an artist in 3 hours! 😁 You leave with a hand blown glass lamp that you have decorated, with a metal base and decorative top. Great quality and really satisfying!! Staff are 11 out of 10. Nothing is too much trouble. If you're wondering where to book your workshops - let me tell you, these guys are the best out of 4 companies I've tried 😊For roughly £20/€22 this tour is fantastic! We've also done other perfume workshops near the bosphorus but the experience with this company was the best of the 3, the most informative and complete explanation at the beginning but without being boring, the selection of oils are good quality, with plenty of choice and Zaynep our guide was great! She makes you feel welcome, clearly enjoys her job and you can tell. She was a great help in pairing different notes and suggesting ingredients based on your formula. If you're wondering which perfume workshop to choose, let my review persuade you to choose this one! Zaynep is a credit to the team, we came back and booked more workshops only a day later!! Der Workshop war insgesamt eine sehr bereichernde und angenehme Erfahrung. Mehmet hat die Inhalte klar, verständlich und mit großer Leidenschaft für die türkische Kaffeekultur vermittelt. Besonders positiv war seine ruhige, freundliche Art und die geduldige Erklärung jedes einzelnen Schrittes – vom Mahlen des Kaffees bis zur richtigen Zubereitung im Cezve. Die praktischen Übungen haben großen Spaß gemacht, und es war deutlich spürbar, wie viel Wissen und Erfahrung Mehmet in diesen Workshop einbringt. Zudem hat er auf alle Fragen ausführlich und kompetent geantwortet, was die Atmosphäre sehr offen und lernfreundlich gestaltet hat. Vielen Dank an Mehmet für diesen lehrreichen und authentischen Workshop. We loved this work shop! We were actually recommended it by a friend who just recently did it and loved it. The guide provided us with some history before we started which was interesting and gave us all the help we needed. The only thing that could have made this better was if we had more time to get more intricate with our designs but I didn’t feel rushed.
