We lucked out by having a private group session with Ali where we were able to learn more about Turkish culture which was already a huge bonus on top of the basics of perfumery.
We had much time to explore the 70+ scents and to formulate our unique scent. I highly recommend this workshop to anybody who is interested in fragrances! You get to bring home your own bottle too.

The workshop was one of my favorite experiences in Istanbul. The teacher was super friendly, knowledgeable, and he made everyone feel comfortable and helped the group connect so naturally.
The workshop is held in a cozy, atmospheric café and they have over 70 perfume ingredients to play with, which made the whole process feel really personal and creative. I left with a scent that feels totally me :)
Would love to go again next time I’m in Istanbul — highly recommend it if you’re into scents or just want to do something a little different!Very enjoyable and well organised workshop!Host was very knowledgeable and made us feel welcomed. However they should be strict with meeting times - we were on time but had to wait almost 20 mins for late comers under the hot sun! Wasn’t fair for participants who were punctual.
Nice environment on the Asian side of Istanbul BUT the activity should have been done in a place AWAY from smokers as the constant cigarette smoke from the next tables really interfered with our experience / the cigarette smoke kept filling our nostrils and interrupted our scent testing!A really memorable experience. Great time making a custom perfume. They lead you through the process and are super helpful when it comes to assiting you with mixing certain scents to find your ideal one. Love the scent I ended up making - would highly recommend. Plus the bottle size is carry on friendly, while still feeling like you have a substantial amount.This was the first thing I did in Istanbul and I’m so glad I did! The hosts were wonderful, it was fun and informative. Great for solo travellers, the group I was with was a lot of fun. Value is 5/5 as an actual 50ml perfume might cost more than this entire amazing workshop. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!We enjoyed the team effort to make this experience great. The perfume session runs around two hours. The time covers a short scent intro, your own blend, the bottle, and a recipe card. The pace is calm. Many guests stay 10 to 15 minutes at the end for photos with the new scent.
The perfume making workshop is priced per person. The current rate is on the booking page. The bottle, label, base oil, and access to the full oil library are part of the rate. You take a sealed bottle of your finished perfume home.
The perfume workshop covers everything for one bottle. You get scent oils, a base, a glass bottle, and a label. The guide helps you with the blend. Drinks and a paper of completion are part of the price. You take the bottle home.
