Great activity to do during a stay in Istanbul ! The workshop takes place in a cozy coffee shop in the Uskudar district, which also gave us a chance to discover this neighborhood. There were only the two of us as a couple for this workshop. Aziz was a very welcoming host. As soon as we arrived, he offered us a cup of coffee. We learned all about the history of Turkish coffee and its cultural significance for Turks. We each made our own Turkish coffee according to our preferences—light for me and strong for my boyfriend. The fortune-telling part at the end was fun. We were also spoiled with gifts at the end of the workshop, something we hadn't expected ! The activity was rather expensive (€28 per person for two hours), but it's one we'd recommend.

Варили кофе, узнали интересные традиции и факты из истории кофе ну и, конечно, гадали на кофейной гуще. Очень приятно, очень легко и интересно. Азиз, мы тебя вспоминаем, все ребята просто молодцы!

So great learning the history, making the coffee, and learning the fun that can be had with fortune telling. And the gift at the end is wonderful to start your coffee making journey at home. Highly recommend.

Aziz was an amazing host and incredibly flexible! A workshop filled with knowledge, interactivity and history! It's a bonus that the location of the workshop is in the beautiful backstreet of Istanbul Anatolia where there are plenty coffee trendy places... very picturesque.. a must try! You will be surprised in the end also

This was truly one of the best activities that I have ever participated in — in any city! Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish — including the first guide who walked us through the entire metro system to get us to the workshop. The workshop itself was phenomenal! The instructor was incredibly knowledgeable and taught us all about their history of Turkish coffee, along with all the cultural significances of it! Then we got to make our own authentic Turkish coffee the way they have been making it for hundreds of years, and then we got to learn the art of fortune telling as well! We were even surprised with several gifts, too! This activity is definitely a must-do activity while you are in Istanbul!

Aziz was phenomenal and so nice! Workshop was amazing, full of information and extremely interesting. A must do experience while in Istanbul.

I really liked it. I learned a lot of Turkish Coffee history and how to make coffee. Mustafa was very patient and professional.

The guide was awesome, he also provided local Baklava and Turkish delight recommendations which are absolutely awesome!

Very interesting workshop to do at Istanbul, so much to learn, we had so much fun and knowledge from the guide, who by the way was very nice and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

The best Turkish coffee workshop in Istanbul! 🇹🇷✨ I spent a wonderful afternoon learning the secrets of authentic coffee from the master Ali. ☕ From grinding the beans to fortune telling in the grounds, it was a 5-star experience! If you're in Üsküdar, don't miss this workshop! ps: even without the workshop, it's worth coming here just to have a coffee on their chill terrace.

Learned the techniques of making a simple and strong coffee the original way and got amazing gifts… dived into history and it was amazing
