Quartier très calme, accueil au top. Petit plus pour le trajet accompagné de notre guide du côté Européen vers le côté asiatique où se situe l’activité. Bahar hat uns in Sirkeci abgeholt und uns zunächst einen spannenden Einblick in die Untergrundstation gegeben, die viele Einheimische nutzen. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich von Mehmet Fatih und seinem Team empfangen. Er nahm sich viel Zeit, uns Schritt für Schritt in die faszinierende Kunst der Glasgestaltung einzuführen. Dazu gab es frische Kekse, Tee, Kaffee und weitere Getränke – einfach perfekt! Der Workshop war ein absolutes Highlight. Das Ambiente, die Herzlichkeit und die harmonische Atmosphäre zwischen den Mitarbeitenden haben uns beeindruckt. Der Ort hat etwas Magisches, das uns sofort dazu inspiriert hat, uns über weitere Workshops zu informieren. Ein wunderbarer Ort, um seiner Kreativität freien Lauf zu lassen. We had the best time and made beautiful lamps. The gals at the workshop were SO kind to us and got us up to speed despite being 30 mins late from a very bad taxi experience. Just plan ahead and take the ferry if coming from the European side of the river!! Cute kitten to pet and lovely tea during the experience too. A Turkish mosaic lamp workshop runs about two to three hours. The bulk of that time is spent at the work station. A short demo and a wrap-up sit on either side of the build. You leave with the lamp you make.
The Turkish mosaic lamp workshop is priced per person. The current rate is on the booking page. The lamp body, glass beads, brass base, grout, and bulb are all in the kit. You take the finished lamp home.
The price covers a lamp body, the glass beads, the brass base, the soldering set, your guide, and the lit lamp you take home. Tools and materials are set up at your station. A short studio tour is part of the session.
