L’activité est très bien organisé, vous repartez avec votre jolie lampe! Du thé et des petits gâteaux ont été servis! L’équipe et les petits chatons sont adorables 🙂Nice family activity. Could have had more of well cut mosaic pieces in the bowls on the table. Best thing to do if your in istanbul!!Es war sehr schön! Der Workshop war sehr gut nachzuvollziehen und auch nicht wirklich voll. Der Guide war superSuper activité !It was excellent to be met and guided to the activity. The venue and instructors were very good. Final lamp was very beautiful, it was slightly more difficult (and rushed) than I expected. My family LOVED this activity! We had a great time creating our lamps! There are lots of color choices, plenty of templates and room for your own mosaic designs or tweaks.Fantastic and fun! Definitely worth it!Me and my 7 year old son loved it! Received good guidance and the staff were very helpful assisting my son so that I could also keep up with my own lamp. Everything about this experience was amazing. We were given clear directions on where to meet our host on the European side and escorted, with the fare paid for, via the metro to the Asian side, Uskudur. We were then escorted to the workshop where we met our instructor, Bintang, who gave us an excellent tutorial on the design and construction of our lamps. Coffee, tea and biscuits were complementary and the atmosphere was friendly and fun. Best of all, we left with complete, beautiful lamps that will be a lasting memory of our visit to Istanbul!Super activitéOur family had an amazing time — this was absolutely one of our top experiences. We travel all over the world with our two boys (boys; ages 11 and 15), and it’s not always easy to find something everyone enjoys. This hit the mark for all four of us. My younger son needed a little extra help with some of the pieces, and the instructor was incredibly patient and polite, taking the time to guide him through. Everyone involved was genuinely kind and thoughtful, which made the experience even better. The finished product was something we all loved, and it was well worth the money. I highly recommend this for anyone, especially families with different personalities and interests. A Turkish mosaic lamp workshop runs about two to three hours. The bulk of that time is spent at the work station. A short demo and a wrap-up sit on either side of the build. You leave with the lamp you make.
The Turkish mosaic lamp workshop is priced per person. The current rate is on the booking page. The lamp body, glass beads, brass base, grout, and bulb are all in the kit. You take the finished lamp home.
The price covers a lamp body, the glass beads, the brass base, the soldering set, your guide, and the lit lamp you take home. Tools and materials are set up at your station. A short studio tour is part of the session.
