Great activity, amazingly hosts

Fun class with a large group! There were multiple instructors to help if needed, and the snacks were also yummy

I really enjoyed this activity! The instruction was amazing, the resources were perfect and I was successful in making my mosaic lamp. I also did the leather wallet class later in the same day and loved that too! Would recommend!

Die Gruppe war bunt gemischt, und es hat großen Spaß gemacht, neue Leute kennenzulernen. Der Raum war authentisch gestaltet und hat die Kreativität angeregt. Der Guide war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sie hat uns einen interessanten Einblick in die Historie gegeben und uns gleichzeitig praktisch sehr gut angeleitet. Es gab eine große Auswahl an Mosaiksteinen sowie Vorlagen mit verschiedenen Mustern für jeden Geschmack. Selbst für Anfänger war der Workshop dadurch sehr gut geeignet und ein rundum schönes Erlebnis. Das Beste ist, dass man das fertige Ergebnis – die Lampen – direkt vor Ort sehen und anschließend schön verpackt mitnehmen kann.

Ha sido una gozada!!! Si tienes tiempo de sobra en Estambul, te recomiendo hacerla. Las personas que te enseñan son encantadoras y el local está muy bien situado. Un rato de tranquilidad y disfrute asegurados. Yo fui con mis 2 hijos adolescentes (13 y 16 años) y disfrutaron muchisimo los 2.

We really enjoyed the workshop, and it is fantastic that you can take your lamp home. The program is suitable for families, our 7 year old son enjoyed it big time. Great hosts, great location. The Old Ottoman restaurant is 3 minutes walk from the location of the workshop, go there for food.

Gids nam echt de tijd, denkt met je mee en was erg enthousiast. De hapjes waren wel ondermaats, droge sesamkoekjes die iedereen heeft laten staan.

Fun and the time passed quickly. Location was in the European side, which was convenient. Wouldn’t say the snacks were substantial enough - considering Turkish hospitality. So don’t come hungry!

It was one of the most incredible tours I ever taken. Incredible selection of food and wonderful stories of culture and history. Cem Ali was amazing! Highly recommend to anyone. Fantastic experience

Excellent guided workshop on decorating our glass lamp with all equipment supplied. It was fun and we could take our completed lamps home at the end of the workshop.

The entire staff was incredibly attentive and genuinely involved, making our experience one of the most memorable in Istanbul. Thanks to them, we left with a completely new and very positive impression of Turkish hospitality. We are truly grateful for the beautiful memories and the wonderful experience they created for us. The location is also excellent—just a 5–6 minute walk from Hagia Sophia. Thank you once again!

Fantastic workshop; at the end of the session, you have your own Turkish lamp, unique and more fun than the ones from the stores. We did the workshop with the whole family; my teenager was skeptical at first and didn't want to, but he enjoyed it too. We were well looked after with tea and delicious cookies, and transportation there was also well arranged. Nihal is a gem; she explains everything well and pays attention to all the participants. Everyone there is incredibly sweet and helpful ❤️ This is the second workshop I've done at Istanbul Workshops, and both have been top quality! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It was a great experience! Everything was explained nicely. The amount of time to create the patterns is exactly right. Our teacher had great ideas when asking for support. Overall a brilliant experience. Can really recommend!

My sister and I absolutely loved creating our lamps. Nahir our instructor was amazing we loved her so much. She was so kind patient and taught us well and so informative. We love her so much. We enjoyed our snacks especially using the garden to relax in after and made new friends which we are staying in contact with. We’d love to pass our thanks onto everyone at the workshop and for our guide getting us there safely 🙏🏻

Es war etwas beschwerlich dem Guide zur Lokalität zu folgen. Das man gut zu Fuß sein muss könnte in der Beschreibung stehen.
