If you’re thinking about doing this, stop thinking and just DO it. It is a once in a lifetime experience: the host was super sweet and thoughtful and super helpful as well. This is definitely a unique experience and one I’ll never forget. It was wonderful and perfect and so intimate. It’s such a wonderful souvenir and wonderful story to tell people. It’s a great value as well. 10/10

We recently had the pleasure of participating in a mosaic lamp making activity in Istanbul, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. Led by the kind and knowledgeable host, Bunyamin.From the moment we arrived, Bunyamin's warm and welcoming demeanor instantly put us at ease. He greeted us with a genuine smile and a genuine enthusiasm for sharing his passion for mosaic art. His expertise in the craft was evident as he guided us through the process, explaining each step with clarity and patience. What truly enhanced the experience were Bunyamin's adorable cats, whose playful presence added a unique charm to the workshop. These furry companions were not only cute but also surprisingly attentive, delightfully exploring the workspace and occasionally seeking affection from us. Their playful antics and curious nature provided a lighthearted atmosphere, making the experience even more enjoyable.The workshop itself was well-organized and equipped with all the necessary materials. Bunyamin provided a wide variety of colorful glass pieces, allowing us to personalize our lamps and truly express their creativity. He generously shared his extensive knowledge of mosaic art, offering tips and suggestions that helped us bring our vision to life. Under his guidance, we were able to create a stunning mosaic lamp that far exceeded my expectations.Bunyamin took the time to answer questions, provide guidance, and offer encouragement. We thoroughly enjoyed the activity. It is a beautiful souvenir and a great activity to do. The hosts were great, the work shop is easy to find and very cozy. The lamp making was three hours overall and I think that is a good time to think about the design and execute it. Only negative (not really) - you should also sell those complimentary biscuits. They were delicious :DI am surely recommended this to my friends. Keep the same energy and the same price and you will do great business throughout the year.

I am so glad I booked this experience! 5 stars all around. The workshop is conveniently located near both a ferry stop and a metro stop, making it quite easy to get to regardless of where you’re staying. The hosts and cafe staff were all very kind and welcoming. I loved chatting with Bunyamin throughout the afternoon. He was a very kind and patient guide and made the whole experience seamless and fun. The cookies were delicious, the playlist was excellent, and the Turkish coffee was the best I’ve had! I love my lamp and will always cherish the memory of making it in Istanbul! A highlight of my trip to be sure. Don’t miss it!

Highly recommend this mosaic lamp workshop if you visit Istanbul! Bunyamin is very friendly and amazing in teaching us how to make a mosaic lamp. He is very patient as well! I also enjoyed wonderful time with friends and the Turkish tea and handmade cookies by Bunyamin! Also, the little cat in the cafe is very cute 🤣🤣🥹🥹.

The host was friendly and the pick up was relatively easy from the European side. The experience however was not as good as I had anticipated. We were the only ones in a group of 3 which I thought would be great but I felt that we were being rushed. The whole experience was just over an hour. There were no freshly made cookies or any trivia interactions. We were shown a short PowerPoint presentation and basically left to get on with it while the host spoke to his friend. Such a shame as I was really looking forward to it. Maybe there would have been more interaction if it was a mixed group but I felt a bit deflated unfortunately. Is it worth the money? Yes but only if everything in the description was offered.

This was a fun activity! Enjoyed meeting the other guests. Was expecting to learn a bit more about Turkish culture but thoroughly enjoyed making the lamp. Pickup was easy and thoughtful

This was an excellent and relaxing workshop. It was a lovely break from visiting the sites. Bunyamin was informative, helpful and patient.He kindly met us near our hotel to take us to the workshop. Highly recommend.

This is the best experience you'll have in Istanbul. Of course visiting historic places is great (I'm a tour guide myself and love history). But there's nothing like bringing a piece of the city home with you, especially when it's sustainable, you made it, and you connected with locals.The host is thoughtful, polite, very nice to have a chat with, and very patient. It's different from everything you'll experience In Istanbul. No rush, no pressure, no upselling, no pushing, no scam, no bargaining, no... Just positive vibes, a relaxed atmosphere and you end up feeling like you were visiting a friend and understanding more about the local culture.Do it do it do it!

A fun experience, got to make and keep our own Turkish mosaic lamp. Bunyamin was very friendly and his cat adorable.

Sehr Toller Workshop. Es hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Bünyamin war sehr geduldig. Außerdem habe ich tolle Leute kennengelernt und spannende Geschichten gehört.

A must do if you are in Istanbul. You learn how to make a mosaic lamp pattern and you get to do it yourself. I consider myself to have no artistic abilities but Bunyamin made it very easy and I had fun, as well as my family and kids.
