Booked for my wife and daughter. They both enjoyed the class, the nice teacher and the 2 glass lamps they produced. And as a side note, me and my son got to try the passenger fairy (which only cost £1.50 and was so much better than the river cruise we had that cost 30 times as much the night before).It was a fantastic experience to create our own mosaic lamps. Our host was also very lovely and kind. Also the location was really cute. The only thing we would criticize is that too many workshops were offered at the same time, leaving too little time for the individual groups. Not only is this incredibly affordable for what you get (a beautiful lamp, guide through public transport if on European side, endless tea, coffee, water and biscuits), but the staff are amazing! So approachable, helpful, funny and entertaining. They create such a fun atmosphere and get everyone laughing and talking while creating their beautiful lamps!Really enjoyed the whole experience. Everything was very well organised, including getting us from the meeting point to the workshop and getting us all set up. Great atmosphere while we were designing our patterns and gluing them on. The session was well organized, with a knowledgeable instructor guiding us through each step. He provided all the materials and helpful tips to make our designs stand out. The atmosphere was relaxed and inspiring, making the process enjoyable for everyone. The final product is a beautiful handcrafted lamp that we’ll cherish as a memento of our time in Istanbul. The instructor's passion for his craft was evident, and he even took great care in wrapping our lamps securely for easy transport home. This workshop is a must do for anyone looking to create a unique and lasting memory of their visit to Istanbul. It’s a perfect blend of creativity, culture, and fun!We would like to thank the workshop representatives , especially Mustafa, for a valuable experience of immersion into such unique technique. We were impressed about the hospitality and caring attention to each participant, as well as the process of decorating the lamp itself. You get an education on the history of mosaics in Turkey while enjoying the hands on, creative activity and making a wonderful souvenir in the process. The staff also offers plenty of tea, coffee, cookies and water during the workshop. What impressed me the most is that they had run out of US plug adapters for the lamp the day of my workshop, but arranged to bring one the following morning to my hotel for me. Very above and beyond, and much appreciated! Definitely don’t miss this activity when in Istanbul.We had an amazing time. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. It was a fun activity for both kids and adults. Мастер-класс был приобретен для ребенка 10 лет. У нее не возникло никаких трудностей.
Наоборот, ей было интересно придумать собственный узор для лампы и потом воплотить его с помощью цветных стекол.
В основном мастер класс проходил на английском, но параллельно нам переводили на русский непонятные моменты из истории подобных светильников.
Ещё могу сказать, что сам мастер класс проходил в очень интересном кафе: там интересная обстановка, наполненная вещами, которые интересно разглядывать. Часть кафе расположена в помещении, а часть на улице.
Пока ребенок занимался лампой нам были предложены вода, чай и кофе.
В общем, мы обязательно вернёмся в это кафе, что бы поучаствовать в другом мастер-классе. Или просто выпить кофе.Спасибо за мастер класс!

Очень рекомендуюTrès bonne expérience :) le cadre est chaleureux et les animateurs de l’atelier sont très sympas. Nous avons eu un petit historique de la création des lampes. Les animateurs nous ont donné des conseils sur nos réalisations, bref c’est une super expérience avec un souvenir chouette.Отличный мастер-класс!

Теперь свет ламп будет нам напоминать о тепле и уюте турецкого народа.This activity was one of the highlights of my trip! I am very crafty, so I loved the opportunity to be creative while abroad. The employees were very accommodating especially since we had several power outages due to bad weather during my experience. They provided us with endless amounts of coffee, tea, water, and cookies. They also had a location in which we could house our belongings while we worked. They were so understanding about me making a mess while working and explained that "it's a workshop, it's supposed to be messy." I also enjoyed listening to the information that was being given to another group that was doing a coffee tasting at a nearby table. The provider of this activity was super helpful in picking us up and dropping us off at our pickup location. They helped us to move through the Turkish Metro system safely and in a timely manner. A Turkish mosaic lamp workshop runs about two to three hours. The bulk of that time is spent at the work station. A short demo and a wrap-up sit on either side of the build. You leave with the lamp you make.
The Turkish mosaic lamp workshop is priced per person. The current rate is on the booking page. The lamp body, glass beads, brass base, grout, and bulb are all in the kit. You take the finished lamp home.
The price covers a lamp body, the glass beads, the brass base, the soldering set, your guide, and the lit lamp you take home. Tools and materials are set up at your station. A short studio tour is part of the session.
