The experience was amazing, they are super friendly and attentive, me and my daughter enjoy this workshop so much that we want to do it againI participated alone, but it was a very meaningful experience. I would definitely like to try this again when I come to Turkey. I would also like to recommend this experience to friends who are visiting Turkey. It’s a small group activity in a nice Cafe setting. The organiser would got in touch to give clear options of accessing the venue. Our instructor Mustafa is very nice and explains everything clearly and guides us through the whole process. Drinks and refreshments are on the house and unlimited. You can use the motif provided or unleash your creativity and in the end you got to take home your beautiful design as well as a nicely printed certificate. There is also a stained glass painting workshop and I would definitely try that when we visit Istanbul the next time. Thank you Mustafa and all the lovely staff!Отлично провели время! Азиз хорошо объяснял, что делать. Был небольшой интересный рассказ про историю мозаики в Турции.
В результате у нас получился настоящий уютный светильник, который можно поставить дома.The workshop was a lot of fun, and perhaps our favorite touristy activity in Istanbul! Our guide, Aziz, was very friendly and kind. On the way to their workshop he answered all our questions about Istanbul and gave us ideas on what to visit. The workshop itself was a wonderful experience too. We learned about the history of the lamps and Aziz helped us with everything we asked about. We had a great time and we get to bring home wonderful souvenirs. Way more valuable than had we just bought Turkish lamps in a shop! We wish we could have joined their glass painting workshop too, but sadly we ran out of time. Highly recommended! What a lovely way to spend part of a day in Istanbul! The activity was informative, creative, and meditative. Our guides were lovely and attentive. I would absolutely recommend this for anyone visiting Istanbul. The guide Mustafa was excellent, very knowledgeable and helpful. Had a great time and would recommend this activity to all who want to do something unique for the region.Great experience would definitely recommend and Mustafa and Ali where friendly and helpful including trying to get to the cafe ThankyouPerfect organization and really friendly atmosphere. Coaches were very helpful and gave us all the support we needed. Nice group members. Amazing kitten 🐱🐱🐱 I recommend the activity ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Turkish Mosaic Lamp Workshop

Really fun activity, a great way to spend a rainy afternoon. The staff were great, very helpful and we really loved the experience.Everything was great! Explanations were in excellent English and the guide was really friendly. It was a very original and very interesting experience. experiencemaravillosa! un súper plan si vienen a Estambul a la zona asiática. The activity was amazing I received a history lesson on Mosaic & hands in helps with the instructor who answered every questions. This was an extremely therapeutic activityIt was absolutely amazing and so enjoyable! I really enjoyed the fact that we had the opportunity to create something and get involved with the Turkish culture. We also were provider with unlimited tea which was really lovely. I strongly recommend this for anyone visiting Istanbul. You won’t be disappointed! Mustafa was an incredible host 🙂Sehr angenehmes Ambiente - gute Erklärung und gutes Materialit was an amazing activity. staff were friendly and patient as we perfected our lamps! 100% recommend!!I had watched these typical oriental lamps in shops and it was a great opportunity to discover how to make it by myself ! I had fun creating this mosaic lamp with the nice help of professionals, and I can say that this activity will stay a highlight of my holidays in Istanbul.Très bonne activité, ambiance sympathiqueKann ich nur weiterempfehlen! :)This was so much fun! The instructor was very helpful, there were so many options to make the lamp our own, and it was fairly easy to understand how to do! Great activity for any skill level. Our host was so friendly and relaxed. We worked at a leisurely pace while chatting, snacking on homemade biscuits and drinking coffee and tea. The room was lovely warm (it was icy outside) and inviting with great background music. It felt like a little retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Istanbul. Whether you're highly creative or not, you can do this. My little lamp is a beautiful reminder of my time in Turkey. We didn't have any drinks refilled during the 3 hours, and didn't have time to do the finishing touches, had to leave quickly. Overwise it was cool.Рекомендую к посещению!The activity was one of the best we had in Turkey. The team was extremely friendly. The place was really cute! We had so much fun making the Mosaic lamps, drinking tea and coffee, and meeting other travellers. We went for the option for the meet up point which was really nice. Mustafa (workshop representative that met us at the pick up location was trying to engage with us all the time and made the workshop so much fun) and Ali were really friendly and they helped us with many questions we had about where to go in Turkey and the best Baklava shops (and it really was the best!). Honestly my sister and I enjoyed this experience very much, way more than we expected! Thank you so much.As a lover of arts and crafts this was right up my street. Mustafa was an excellent host. He came and met me on the European side and escorted me to the venue via the metro. His English is excellent and chatted about the history of the city. The workshop is situated in a cute cafe where we were given free Turkish tea and coffee. He explained everything really well, going through each stage. The course takes about 3 hours, and the lamp you come away with, really is lovely. Excellent value for money and a lovely way to spend the afternoon. Thanks for a great workshop Mustafa :)A really fun activity! This was the 2nd activity my Aunt and I did here on our Istanbul trip, and we loved it! We chose not to meet up with the guide (mobility issues) & took a taxi right to the shop. The whole place is super cute & everyone is so nice! The inside part looks like an actual "workshop" and they have a nice outside seating area. They have coffee & bakery items you can order. The staff is friendly & helpful, & they even have an adorable resident kitty named Crepe ♥️ The workshop itself was really fun & even my Aunt (who doesn't usually like this kinda stuff - like arts and crafts) had a good time! They give you everything you need & several design options for your lamp. They walk you through the process/steps & are right there for any questions or help - I needed help with the glue b/c I have really shaky hands. Expect to be there for 2-3 hours. We really enjoyed it & will def go again when we come back!Got a question? We're here to answer! If you don't see your question here, contact with us directly on our Contact Page →
A Turkish mosaic lamp workshop runs about two to three hours. The bulk of that time is spent at the work station. A short demo and a wrap-up sit on either side of the build. You leave with the lamp you make.
The Turkish mosaic lamp workshop is priced per person. The current rate is on the booking page. The lamp body, glass beads, brass base, grout, and bulb are all in the kit. You take the finished lamp home.
The price covers a lamp body, the glass beads, the brass base, the soldering set, your guide, and the lit lamp you take home. Tools and materials are set up at your station. A short studio tour is part of the session.
