Ali was our instructor for the session, he was very helpful in advising us the type of pieces to use to make the lamp really stand out. It was an amazing experience, and we get to take home our personalised lamp. It was really enjoyable ☺️Great time making lamps. The instructors were very friendly and they were very communitive before the date making sure that we were comfortable in getting to their workshop. It's a real value for money and overall an amazing experience. Very fun and nice! We had an amazing guide called Aziz who was very helpful and knowledgeable!Fun, social, nice to take something away :)Aleyna hosted me, she is such a wonderful person, not only she picked me up from the pier, also very helpful for whatever question I had about the history of Istanbul, she even showed me places and gave a brief tour on the way to the lamp session! During the lamp session she is also very well explained everything, couldn’t make it without her professional skills! I highly recommend it!!!The activity is actually really fun and a great way to meet new people in a new city. Would really recommend it.Very interesting and new experience. Aleyna was a great tour and class guide. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would definitely do it again. I loved how my lamp came out!You create your own lamp, learn about the story and can take it the final product home, all ready and packed to travel!This was one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve been to in a long time. The place was beautifully decorated and Aleyna was a great host. She was very helpful with the construction of the decorations. Everything was included; even unlimited amount of coffee and tea. An excellent way to spend your time in İstanbul and experience warm hospitality and learn about these iconic lamps. Aleyne was a great host and told me all about the art history of these lamps. I made a little desk lamp to take home, which feels a lot better than buying one from a market. I would 100% recommend if you're looking for something a bit different and enjoy arts and crafts! Not to mention some furry cafe cats to keep you company too.Very beautiful and personal activity. The employees were really nice and helpful. A Turkish mosaic lamp workshop runs about two to three hours. The bulk of that time is spent at the work station. A short demo and a wrap-up sit on either side of the build. You leave with the lamp you make.
The Turkish mosaic lamp workshop is priced per person. The current rate is on the booking page. The lamp body, glass beads, brass base, grout, and bulb are all in the kit. You take the finished lamp home.
The price covers a lamp body, the glass beads, the brass base, the soldering set, your guide, and the lit lamp you take home. Tools and materials are set up at your station. A short studio tour is part of the session.
