Great time making lamps. Very helpful directions. 😊If you’re looking for a fun, cultural, crafty activity to do I would highly recommend this experience! Bunyamin and Zeynep were both very helpful and knowledgeable, and communicated very well in English. Je recommandeWe've lived in Istanbul for three years now and I looked around at different mosaic lamp making courses and this looked like the best so I decided to try it out for my partner and her mother and they absolutely loved it. The instructors were very friendly and they were very communitive before the date making sure that we were comfortable in getting to their workshop. It's a real value for money and overall an amazing experience. I would recommend this to anyone that loves arts and crafts, and anyone interested in an unique Turkish experience.재밌고 좋았어요Very fun and nice! Fun, social, nice to take something away :)Aleyna hosted me, she is such a wonderful person, not only she picked me up from the pier, also very helpful for whatever question I had about the history of Istanbul, she even showed me places and gave a brief tour on the way to the lamp session! During the lamp session she is also very well explained everything, couldn’t make it without her professional skills! I highly recommend it!!!The activity is actually really fun and a great way to meet new people in a new city. Would really recommend it.Very interesting and new experience. I had problems with getting to the venue, but Ali helped me with directions, even though it was my fault for not reading the meeting point details correctly. Aleyna was very clear as to how to create the lamps and sharing its history. it's a relaxing activity and a great way to meet new people. The finished product is something that'll remind you of your Istanbul trip too. Aleyna also went above and beyond by helping me get back to my accommodations by going to the station and helping me with directions. would highly recommend this!Aleyna was a great tour and class guide. The place was beautifully decorated and Aleyna was a great host. She was very helpful with the construction of the decorations. Everything was included; even unlimited amount of coffee and tea. Kids will love this activity and of course you leave with a beautifully decorated lamp that you can put in your home or give it as a great present to friends or family.Really fun experienceAn excellent way to spend your time in İstanbul and experience warm hospitality and learn about these iconic lamps. Aleyne was a great host and told me all about the art history of these lamps. I made a little desk lamp to take home, which feels a lot better than buying one from a market. A Turkish mosaic lamp workshop runs about two to three hours. The bulk of that time is spent at the work station. A short demo and a wrap-up sit on either side of the build. You leave with the lamp you make.
The Turkish mosaic lamp workshop is priced per person. The current rate is on the booking page. The lamp body, glass beads, brass base, grout, and bulb are all in the kit. You take the finished lamp home.
The price covers a lamp body, the glass beads, the brass base, the soldering set, your guide, and the lit lamp you take home. Tools and materials are set up at your station. A short studio tour is part of the session.
