The workshop had a very relaxed and personal atmosphere with great hosts. There is really unlimited coffee - and I even got some fortune telling out of my turkish coffee. He also offered us help for anything we may need in Istanbul anytime. Really cool activity to do, being creative with a very home-like atmosphere with no rush. I had the feeling the hosts enjoyed out afternoon too :) Always nice since at some touristic tours you feel that they are just in it for the money.Great activity!! Loved it!!! TVery nice experiment. It’s a space to use your creativity in a Turkish hand made craft workshop. Very unique experience and very friendly people. I highly recommend itA great experience ! Had lots of fun making a glass lamp and had great discussions with the team. The place is really cozy and nice. I really recommend it!We had a great time making Turkish Lamps! It was really easy to do and we met some cool people from different corners of the world. Aleyna was kind, helpful, and fun to work with. It is a great activity to do while in Istanbul!It was a very awesome and creative experience! Alina helped us make the lamps. Something fun to do to beat the heat. The lamps are great quality and they even wrapped it in bubble wrap to bring home. This is a unique experience. I really enjoyed having a few hours to relax and be creative. 100% recommended.Would recommend. We got picked up halfway and caught a train together to the workshop. The class was well structured and very intimate (only 5 of us in total and our group was already 4). It would've been nice to hear a little about Turkey and its history and aircon!! It was so hot in there, we were all sweating. All in all, it was a fun activity and would recommend!This was a fun activity - something different after exploring sights around the city. Aleyna met me and we took the underground to the Asian side. The workshop is a short walk. There were only two of us and I enjoyed chatting and drinking ice coffee while I made my lamp. I took the ferry back to the European side with my new creation.Attending the mosaic lamp workshop was a great experience. The instructor was nice and patient. I went with my cousins and there was 2 other guests there . We left with a beautiful mosaic lamp. Highly recommend.I had a wonderful experience at this workshop! We had an amazing morning learning about turkish mosaic lamps. Making our own was so fun - there were so many different colours of tiles and beads to chose from. Ali was so kind and friendly, he really made the experience amazing! He gave us great local recommendations and was kind enough to take us to a ceramics shop after the work shop as well, truly above and beyond brilliant. We loved the experience, would return in a heart beat and recommend it to everyone!Real AMAZING experience! Host took her time and was very great at giving important information and the history of Mosaic 💫I had such a wonderful time I felt like a guest ⭐️Unique and captivating workshop. We enjoyed it very much and are happy that we were able to take our lamps with us back home! I recommend.This workshop was a wonderful way to learn more about Turkish culture and make a nice souvenir to bring home! Our host Jelena was wonderful. She was warm and friendly and gave us a presentation on the history and culture surrounding Turkish lamps and then helped us to make and apply our own designs. A Turkish mosaic lamp workshop runs about two to three hours. The bulk of that time is spent at the work station. A short demo and a wrap-up sit on either side of the build. You leave with the lamp you make.
The Turkish mosaic lamp workshop is priced per person. The current rate is on the booking page. The lamp body, glass beads, brass base, grout, and bulb are all in the kit. You take the finished lamp home.
The price covers a lamp body, the glass beads, the brass base, the soldering set, your guide, and the lit lamp you take home. Tools and materials are set up at your station. A short studio tour is part of the session.
