How the pickup works

If you choose the Sirkeci meeting point, the studio team meets you at Hafız Mustafa Sirkeci 30 minutes before the workshop starts. From there we walk to the ferry or metro and cross to the Üsküdar studio together. The trip takes about 20 to 25 minutes door to door, including a short walk on each side.

From most Old City hotels it is a short walk. From Sultanahmet, a taxi takes 5 to 10 minutes outside rush hour. We do not arrange a door-to-door pickup from your hotel.

Why we don't run a return trip

After a workshop, group flow scatters. Some guests linger for photos and chat, others head straight to dinner in Karaköy or back to a Beşiktaş hotel, a few stay around Üsküdar to explore. Setting one return route does not fit how most groups use the time after. The studio is right by the pier and the metro, so ferry, metro, or taxi each works easily for the way back.

Getting back to the European side

The Üsküdar pier is a 5-minute walk from the studio. Ferries leave for Eminönü, Beşiktaş, and Karaköy every 10 to 15 minutes during the day. A single ride is one Istanbulkart tap. Many guests find this the calmest way back, especially during evening rush hour when the bridge is crawling.

Direct arrivals show up 5 minutes before the workshop. This works well if you are already on the Asian side, or if your hotel is closer to the Marmaray train than to Sirkeci.

With kids or luggage

Families with young kids or guests carrying suitcases from a checkout often prefer the pickup option; one fewer thing to plan. For larger luggage the practical move is to drop it at your next hotel first, since the studio does not have a luggage room. A taxi straight to the Üsküdar studio is also fine when timing is tight.

What if you miss the meeting point

A guest arrived at Sirkeci ten minutes after the team had already left for the ferry. They sent a message, we replied with the studio address, and they came across by Marmaray on their own. They joined the workshop only ten minutes into the demo. The lesson: missing the meeting point is recoverable; just message us and head to the studio directly.
