Beautiful space, warm and kind people and a very fun experience overall!

my girlfriend and I chose this to try something uniquely turkish and creative, and we had a blast! met some wonderful people from opposite sides of the world, and made a great lamp at the same time! friendly and accommodating host who will keep you right with your lamp making process

Lovely and interesting activity

Truly a unique experience! Bunyamin was an excellent host!! It was a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the European side of Istanbul, and the coffee we made was really good.

Totally recommend! The workshop had a very relaxed and personal atmosphere with great hosts. There is really unlimited coffee - and I even got some fortune telling out of my turkish coffee. He also offered us help for anything we may need in Istanbul anytime. Really cool activity to do, being creative with a very home-like atmosphere with no rush. I had the feeling the hosts enjoyed out afternoon too :) Always nice since at some touristic tours you feel that they are just in it for the money.

Hands down best personable experience to have here in Turkey. Bunyamin left us feeling like we know more about Turkey, it's history, culture, and more.. way beyond just learning about how to make it's famous Turkish coffee. He was so delightful in his storytelling, and everything was so easy to follow along. He also left us with special instructions and materials to bring home to practice the art of Turkish coffee making at home! Can't wait to make this for my friends back home. Thank you Bunyamin for this wonderful and memorable experience!!!

We had a great time making Turkish Lamps! It was really easy to do and we met some cool people from different corners of the world. Aleyna was kind, helpful, and fun to work with. It is a great activity to do while in Istanbul!

I recommend this activity for all who enjoy the arts and want to make their own lamp. After all the history and market centered activities that Istanbul has to offer, this was refreshing and very enjoyable. Our group was a mix of a young girl, a teenager, three women and a brave guy whom had as much fun as everyone else, if not more. We loved it and will return next time we are in the area.

Everything was very thoughtfully curated, going beyond what I expected. Yes, we did get to learn about the history of Turkish coffee, learn how to make Turkish coffee, and how to do fortune telling over the coffee remains as expected. But I was very impressed with how it was conducted. Bunyamin was ready to tell us the history of coffee with good paintings / photographs, he had all the tools carefully setup, gifted us something that will help us remember how to make Turkish coffee later, and gave us great coaching on how to do fortune telling ourselves. Here is someone who really cares about the experience of the workshop participant, has prepared very well to make it good, then executes it very well! I enjoyed the way he conducted the workshop that I was ready to sign up for more workshops he was offering, because I developed trust that he knows how to put up a good workshop!

It's an experience that's worth your money. I would recommend this to coffee lovers or someone who wants to immerse themselves even more in Turkish culture. I learned a lot from Bunyamin’s presentation and fortune reading too.

Bunyamin and Aliña were so helpful from beginning to end. Bunyamin met us at the pier to bring us to the Asian side where the shop was located. The neighborhood was a very nice place and the shop had a cute outdoor area for coffee and pastries. Alina helped us make the lamps. Something fun to do to beat the heat. The lamps are great quality and they even wrapped it in bubble wrap to bring home. I would definitely recommend this for adults and kids !!
