Would recommend. We got picked up halfway and caught a train together to the workshop. The class was well structured and very intimate (only 5 of us in total and our group was already 4). It would've been nice to hear a little about Turkey and its history and aircon!! It was so hot in there, we were all sweating. All in all, it was a fun activity and would recommend!This was a fun activity - something different after exploring sights around the city. Aleyna met me and we took the underground to the Asian side. The workshop is a short walk. There were only two of us and I enjoyed chatting and drinking ice coffee while I made my lamp. I took the ferry back to the European side with my new creation.La experiencia del workshop con Benjamin fue muy completa y estuvo lleno de sorpresas. Además su inglés es muy bueno y fácil de comprender incluso para latinos y nativos ingleses. Quedamos listas para preparar nuestro propio café turco en casa y leer la morra del café. I went with my cousins and there was 2 other guests there . We left with a beautiful mosaic lamp. Highly recommend.I had a wonderful experience at this workshop! Our hosts were super friendly and kind! They kept refilling our teas and offered us Turkish coffee at the end. Затем показали 3 способа варить кофе в турке. Мы сами мололи кофе в кофемолке. Затем пробовали 2 других напитка кофе мененгич (из орехов) и кофе-дибек (молочный вкус с пряностями).
Очень понравилось гадание на кофейной гуще)) Ведущий Бенжамин с юмором рассказал о технологии, затем мы гадали друг другу, а потом Бенжамин "погадал" каждому из нас)
В конце нам подарили замечательные подарки, набор для кофе: маленькую турку, кофейную чашку с блюдцем и пакетик молотого кофе)

Amazing experience! Very chill atmosphere. The workshop was well structured, with an educational part, a practice part and lots of fun all around :)I really enjoyed this workshop. The fortune telling was very fun!We had an amazing morning learning about turkish mosaic lamps. Making our own was so fun - there were so many different colours of tiles and beads to chose from. Ali was so kind and friendly, he really made the experience amazing! He gave us great local recommendations and was kind enough to take us to a ceramics shop after the work shop as well, truly above and beyond brilliant. We loved the experience, would return in a heart beat and recommend it to everyone!Real AMAZING experience! Host took her time and was very great at giving important information and the history of Mosaic 💫I had such a wonderful time I felt like a guest ⭐️Fatih gave us a great experience. 🥰 We were not only his guests but also his friends. We learned a lot about the history and traditions of Turkish coffee. He took coffee drinking to a new level. The fortune-telling was really fun and interesting. And at the end, he didn't let us go empty-handed. Worth a 1000 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Unique and captivating workshop. I have always been a bit nervous about Turkish Coffee as I thought it would be too strong for me to drink, but this experience has changed my mind! I have bought coffee to take home with me! the coffee making technique was explained & we received so much information. To top it, the venue was superb & the hospitality excellent! I would strongly recommend doing this! 🤗Was amazing ... great hospitality and awesome experience !!!This workshop was a wonderful way to learn more about Turkish culture and make a nice souvenir to bring home! Our host Jelena was wonderful. She was warm and friendly and gave us a presentation on the history and culture surrounding Turkish lamps and then helped us to make and apply our own designs. She was patient and happy to answer questions and give us more detail about Turkish art in general. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough- a must do when you’re in Istanbul!Fun experience, kids loved itOur family (husband, myself, and two daughters ages 8 and 4) had a wonderful experience making Turkish lanterns. These were such special souvenirs to bring back home. The instructors were lovely people - very knowledgeable about the craft, and also about history and politics. They were so kind to spend lots of dedicated time with our 4 year old helping her make the rainbow concoction of her dreams. :) My only suggestions - take some pictures of the lamps for sale in the different markets before you go - it will give you inspiration when you get to the class. And message the organizers in advance if you will need a US plug for your lamp. We used adapters for ours, but it sounded like they could get US plugs if you give them enough notice. Thanks for a great experience! :)What a fun time it is to make our own mosaic lamps!
