Це був чудовий досвід! Я в Стамбулі не перший раз, проте поки що цей майстер-клас був найкращим з усіх активностей, в яких я приймала участь)Дякую і дуже рекомендую відвідати!☺️Highly recommend! Fun activityI had a wonderful time making my mosaic lamp today! I will start by saying the Bunyamin is a perfect gentleman. He offered to carry my bag for me but I felt bad and declined bc it was heavy from my travels/souvenirs from other AirBnB experiences earlier in the day 😅. I am a solo-traveler in Istanbul and he was so kind to meet at our exact meeting place on time and with a huge smile on his face. I felt at ease as soon and he called my name at the corner. We had a short walk to the train station and boarded with two other Americans who were taking the class as well. Bunyamin’s conversation was very easy and engaging as we walked to his shop. The location is in a quiet, residential part of the Asian side of the city and the coffee shop is easily seen off the Main Street. The atmosphere inside was warm and inviting. Fatih, his partner, greeted us at the door with a smile and showed us to our seats at the crafts table. Bunyamin immediately offered us water or Turkish coffee and tea as we waited for 2 more guests to join us. When they arrived, we viewed a short (4min) informational PowerPoint and were presented with a myriad of colors of glass tile and beads to decorate our lamps. It took about two hours for us all to complete our projects, some artists knew exactly what they wanted & were quick to finish, so they helped & encouraged others at the table. The other half of us didn’t really know what we wanted to portray and took a little longer to finish, Bunyamin was patient & helpful through it all! It was fun and relaxing, we built a little community at the table. The Turkish tea & cookie service was a nice touch and great way to pick us up midway through our designs if we started to feel stressed. The cute and lazy cafe kitten, Crepe, was also there to make us ooh and awe as she encouraged our artistry with her cuteness. After we let our lamps dry, Bunyamin was so kind to walk us back to the train so but then offered us the option to take the ferry back to the European side instead! It was a great idea and one last added touch to complete the experience. Overall, this is definitely an Airbnb experience I would recommend!!! I find it way better to make your own mosaic lamp and to meet new friends while doing it, than to spend tons more money by buying one that isn’t at all personal to you. My lamp now has a story to tell and I’m glad I chose to visit Bunyamin’s cozy shop to write it in!I would recommend this experience to anyone, even if you don’t think you have a creative side…. Also a great team building experience. Bunyamin was an amazing host and I hope to see him again on a future stay in Istanbul. wishing you best with your Airbnb experience! My friend and I had an absolute blast making our lamps! Bunyamin was super helpful and kind, he even offered to join his family for dinner as they were breaking their fast when the class was ending. Book with Bunyamin, he’s the best!Ebru Tote Bag Art Workshop

The Turkish coffee workshop was an amazing experience. Fatih and Onur, the workshop instructors, were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Turkish coffee, and they shared so much interesting information about the history and cultural significance of this beverage. The class was well-organized and instructive, Fatih and Onur took the time to walk us through the brewing process step by step. They answered our questions patiently and thoroughly, making the experience both enjoyable and educational. The tasting was undoubtedly the highlight of the workshop! Fatih and Onur's expertise was evident as they guided us through the tasting process, allowing us to enjoy the distinct flavor and aroma of Turkish coffee.I would strongly suggest this Turkish coffee workshop to anyone who enjoys coffee or is interested in learning more about Turkish culture. It was a memorable experience.I had an amazing time at the Turkish Mosaic Lamp Workshop during my vacation with three of my friends. Our host was exceptional and made the experience truly enjoyable. His cat, Creppe, was an added bonus and kept us entertained throughout the workshop. The workshop itself was informative and well-organized. We learned how to make beautiful mosaic lamps and were able to take home our creations as souvenirs. The host was patient and encouraging, which made the experience even better.I highly recommend this workshop to anyone visiting Turkey. It's a unique and fun way to immerse yourself in the local culture and create a lasting memory. Thank you for a wonderful experience! We thoroughly enjoyed the activity. It is a beautiful souvenir and a great activity to do. The hosts were great, the work shop is easy to find and very cozy. The lamp making was three hours overall and I think that is a good time to think about the design and execute it. Only negative (not really) - you should also sell those complimentary biscuits. They were delicious :DI am surely recommended this to my friends. Keep the same energy and the same price and you will do great business throughout the year. What an amazing experience-loved every minute !I am so glad I booked this experience! 5 stars all around. The workshop is conveniently located near both a ferry stop and a metro stop, making it quite easy to get to regardless of where you’re staying. The hosts and cafe staff were all very kind and welcoming. I loved chatting with Bunyamin throughout the afternoon. He was a very kind and patient guide and made the whole experience seamless and fun. The cookies were delicious, the playlist was excellent, and the Turkish coffee was the best I’ve had! I love my lamp and will always cherish the memory of making it in Istanbul! A highlight of my trip to be sure. Don’t miss it!An excellent experience learning about Türk kahvesi and how to make it! Lots of fun and super hostsA really fun experience. Bunyamin even met us on the European side and helped us navigate the Istanbul public transport system. The location had a great atmosphere and the hosts were very welcoming and told great stories. I will definitely be making Turkish coffee at home and telling my friends’ fortunes when I get back to Sydney. The class was great, coffee delicious, place very cosy and comfortable, Bunyamin is amazing storyteller and surprise in the end is so nice. The host was friendly and the pick up was relatively easy from the European side. The experience however was not as good as I had anticipated. We were the only ones in a group of 3 which I thought would be great but I felt that we were being rushed. The whole experience was just over an hour. There were no freshly made cookies or any trivia interactions. We were shown a short PowerPoint presentation and basically left to get on with it while the host spoke to his friend. Such a shame as I was really looking forward to it. Maybe there would have been more interaction if it was a mixed group but I felt a bit deflated unfortunately. Is it worth the money? Yes but only if everything in the description was offered. This was a fun activity! Enjoyed meeting the other guests. Was expecting to learn a bit more about Turkish culture but thoroughly enjoyed making the lamp. Pickup was easy and thoughtfulThis was an excellent and relaxing workshop. It was a lovely break from visiting the sites. Bunyamin was informative, helpful and patient. He kindly met us near our hotel to take us to the workshop. Highly recommend.I had such a wonderful time with both of the owners and met new friends in the workshop! I feel happy about the whole experience that wasn't just learning new things but also making connection with people and hope we will meet somewhere again one day!Workshop is great, nothing to be picky on 😆This is the best experience you'll have in Istanbul. Of course visiting historic places is great (I'm a tour guide myself and love history). But there's nothing like bringing a piece of the city home with you, especially when it's sustainable, you made it, and you connected with locals. The host is thoughtful, polite, very nice to have a chat with, and very patient. It's different from everything you'll experience In Istanbul. No rush, no pressure, no upselling, no pushing, no scam, no bargaining, no... Just positive vibes, a relaxed atmosphere and you end up feeling like you were visiting a friend and understanding more about the local culture.Do it do it do it!A fun experience, got to make and keep our own Turkish mosaic lamp. Bunyamin was very friendly and his cat adorable.Una bellissima esperienza! La mia lampada sta benissimo nel mio salotto:) nessuno riesce a credere che l' ho fatta io!This was a fantastic experience for me and my wife!Bunyamin is such a great storyteller. Combined with his knowledge of history, culture and his big hospitality it was one of the best afternoons on our long vacation. The atmosphere was so good and we felt that we, for a couple of hours, were friends with the rest of the group - people from all over the world, we had never seen before.Don’t miss out on Bunyamins guide into Turkish coffee and history if you are anywhere near Istanbul!!I had a wonderful time at the coffee event! The coffee was delicious, and I appreciated the individualized attention and information about the history of Turkish coffee ne it’s tradition. I also had the pleasure of meeting some new friends and sharing lots of laughs. Thanks for hosting such an interesting and enjoyable event!Sehr Toller Workshop. Es hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Bünyamin war sehr geduldig. Außerdem habe ich tolle Leute kennengelernt und spannende Geschichten gehört.Perfume Making Workshop

A must do if you are in Istanbul. You learn how to make a mosaic lamp pattern and you get to do it yourself. I consider myself to have no artistic abilities but Bunyamin made it very easy and I had fun, as well as my family and kids.Loved this experience! Started with a history of Turkish coffee, then ground some whole beans using a Turkish grinder, brewed coffee using a portable stove, and enjoyed different varieties. Finally, we learned how to read fortunes using coffee! Lots of fun and great for first timers who want to learn more about Turkish coffee.Good coffee tour. Host is knowledgeable.Bunyamin’s experience was extremely nice and adds great memories to our trip experience to Turkey! He’s a great and funny and caring host. He took great care of every guests and knowledge about the Turkish coffee! Would recommend to everyone that’s curious about Turkish coffee or just the local hospitality!!My parents and I had a great time with Bünyamin at his cafe. Making our own lamps was one of the highlights of our Turkey trip. He was extremely personable and gave us some good recs for the Asian side of Istanbul (underrated, don’t miss it). Overall an awesome experience with a lifelong memory to show for it!Got a question? We're here to answer! If you don't see your question here, contact with us directly on our Contact Page →
