This workshop was a really great experience! A nice break from the hustle and bustle of Istanbul, in a cute location with great coffee :)Our instructor Aleyna was very attentive to our needs and gave us a lot of freedom to explore our creative skills. In a nutshell, it’s a lovely activity and we had a lot of fun !The event was fantastic - from the meeting point to crafting to drop off, everything was well designed and executed with a personal touch.Slow down your hectic travelling pace, and step in for a coffee….what a great way to spend an afternoon, learning about the history and significance of sharing, making and magical “truth” telling of Turkish coffee in a cool, setting. Bunyamin and team were fun, expressive and kind. A must do experience while visiting Istanbul.ExcellentWe went to this workshop a few days ago and we enjoyed it very much! Our host Aleyna was the nicest. She guided us through the workshop and gave us many tips and recommendations for our whole Istanbul trip:)We had a wonderful and interesting afternoon. We were even offered to meet together on the European side and drive to the meeting point on the Asian side. The workshop leader passionately told us about the tradition of Turkish coffee. We prepared Turkish coffee together and were also able to taste other types of coffee. At the end we were also introduced to the tradition of reading coffee grounds. All in all, a perfect experience that could not have been better. Incredibly friendly people who gave us tips for our trip to Istanbul, a goodie back with which we can now prepare our own Turkish coffee and afterwards we could relax with a coffee or tea in the beautiful garden of the café. The workshop was more than worth the money.I had an amazing experience! The co-host guided me through the experience and taught me of Turkish customs, culture, and it’s diverse history. It’s an enjoyable and comfortable environment!It was very unique and special experience. Great intro to Turkish coffee! Benyamin is extremely knowledgeable about Turkish coffee culture, brewing, and history. The experience is held in his wonderful coffee shop with a great atmosphere. The fortune telling piece was not as much of a focus as we had expected but still fun to discuss albeit briefly ☕️The afternoon spent with Benyamin, sharing his family’s Turkish coffee culture and learning how to make it, was such a wonderful experience! Benyamin is the most generous host and storyteller. Thank you for making our coffee drinking experience such a memorable one!!!Super fun class that leaves you with a handmade, personalized, authentic Turkish souvenir! We had a great time in Bunyamin’s class—it’s held in his coffee shop/workshop that has a great atmosphere. He walks you through all the necessary steps but allows for plenty of creative freedom. There is an abundance of supplies so the design options are almost limitless. We absolutely love our lamps and will always remember our time in Istanbul when we see them. Benyamin also met us on the European side to help us cross over to the Asian side where the class is held—it was very easy to do so definitely don’t let that stop you from booking this experienceSuper leuke en unieke ervaring! Highly recommend this to everyone!Great activity for the entire family! Our 7-year old loved making his lamp and spent a lot of time carefully designing it. Plus we get a nice souvenir to bring back home. Would totally recommend to adults and families with kids alike! The class takes place in a hipster cafe and it's a cool place to hang out as well.Aleyna was amazing and super engaging with our kiddo. The workshop really lets you be creative and the take home mosaic lamp (electrical source included) is a beautiful souvenir of the experience!Amazing workshop! It was informative, yet fun. It was interesting to hear all about Turkish coffee culture and hear his stories. The fortune telling workshop was funny and a nice way to interact with other guests by reading each other's fortunes.A must do when your in Istanbul! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Super fun to learn to make coffee and make new friendsBunyamin is an absolute gem! He is so sweet and accommodating and I had a great time completing my mosaic lamp which I am obsessed with and can’t wait to take home! Yusuf met me at the European meet up point to get there and it was pretty quick and easy.The location is really cool, it’s in an indoor/outdoor coffee shop with really great decor and vibes. Would highly recommend :)So nice and kind peopleWonderful workshop and the lanterns turned out beautifully. The course leader was engaged and helpful the whole time. The snacks were great. It took me about an hour and a half but I do work very quickly so it was nice that everyone could work at their own pace. Workshop highly recommended!!I strongly recommend this experience for anyone who’s curious about Turkish coffee culture. Had an amazing time and learned a lot!Mosaic lamp making seemed so unusual and so Turkish my daughter and I had to do it. The hosts are extremely kind and gracious. We got a little lost going in and a selfie in front of a nearby restaurant got Bunyamin to us in minutes. Nice conversation as he personally escorted us to the workshop. The making of the lamp is not difficult at all. Color variety of the mosaics was enough to satisfy without being overwhelming. We usually don’t finish activities like this but the time was perfect and chatting with other participants was an added pleasure. This was a great experience and it was a lot of fun however it was very hot at the workshop and they didn’t provide transportation on the way back which was inconvenient. They also only had European plugs when we asked for American ones. The guide was greatMy friend and I thoroughly enjoyed this experience, great fun absolutely amazing atmosphere and the cafe was so well priced, best prices we'd seen in Istanbul for good food. The lamp making itself was a lot of fun and it makes you appreciate the craft a lot more, met some great people and Alaina was such a fantastic teacher. 10/10 would recommend to anyone on the fence about visiting this place!!
