Fun and the time passed quickly. Location was in the European side, which was convenient. Wouldn’t say the snacks were substantial enough - considering Turkish hospitality. So don’t come hungry!

Excellent guided workshop on decorating our glass lamp with all equipment supplied. It was fun and we could take our completed lamps home at the end of the workshop.

I was lucky enough to have this course all by myself, so I got to have conversations about loads of different topics with the coffee master. Being a bit of a coffee enthusiast myself it was a very good presentation on the history of coffee and the role of the Ottomans in it. It was also great to be able to make the coffee with different beans to separate what one can expect from a normal Istanbul street vendor and what you can expect at a specialty shop.

The entire staff was incredibly attentive and genuinely involved, making our experience one of the most memorable in Istanbul. Thanks to them, we left with a completely new and very positive impression of Turkish hospitality. We are truly grateful for the beautiful memories and the wonderful experience they created for us. The location is also excellent—just a 5–6 minute walk from Hagia Sophia. Thank you once again!

An absolute must-do when in Istanbul! Our host was superb and as well as learning how to make Turkish coffee, we also learned much about its history - all very interesting! The gifts we each received at the end were a lovely added touch and much appreciated. The venue also runs perfume making and lamp and tile decorating workshops (plus, no doubt, other ones) and they all looked great fun. Definitely do at least one of these activities during your stay!

Fantastic workshop; at the end of the session, you have your own Turkish lamp, unique and more fun than the ones from the stores. We did the workshop with the whole family; my teenager was skeptical at first and didn't want to, but he enjoyed it too. We were well looked after with tea and delicious cookies, and transportation there was also well arranged. Nihal is a gem; she explains everything well and pays attention to all the participants. Everyone there is incredibly sweet and helpful ❤️ This is the second workshop I've done at Istanbul Workshops, and both have been top quality! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What an enjoyable experience!

It was a great experience! Everything was explained nicely. The amount of time to create the patterns is exactly right. Our teacher had great ideas when asking for support. Overall a brilliant experience. Can really recommend!

My sister and I absolutely loved creating our lamps. Nahir our instructor was amazing we loved her so much. She was so kind patient and taught us well and so informative. We love her so much. We enjoyed our snacks especially using the garden to relax in after and made new friends which we are staying in contact with. We’d love to pass our thanks onto everyone at the workshop and for our guide getting us there safely 🙏🏻

The experience is amazing. It’s unique and me and my partner have never done perfumes before but our guide was great in explaining and helping us through out the whole process. I recommend it to everyone as it leaves a great souvenir from Istanbul!!

We were assisted by Mustafa. He is a man of knowledge. Well versed in his craftsmanship. His explanations are super easy to understand. All participants received his personal consultations once they have made their choices of scents. If you are planning your day in Istanbul, make sure to check this out. Just to make it clear that the workshop is located in Uskudar. A 1 stop journey from Sirkeci Marmaray Metro Station. So from the meeting point pinned in the listing, there will be one tour guide to bring you to the workshop. Nonetheless it was fun and we were able to expand our journey to cover the Asian side of Istanbul too.

This was super fun and such a unique souvenir to take home.
