Really enjoyed this Workshop. The Host was really kind and explained everything very well. If I had enough time I would have done the Mosaic lamp as well. Will come back! Also really nice café!

We came for this master class for the first time and would be happy to extend this experience! The process of stained glass drawing is quite easy, and the teacher is helpful! We absolutely enjoyed the event! You get your drawing dried and packed within an hour after you finish drawing. They are very careful and attentive to all visitors! The guide is speaking perfect English (some other languages also available). Many thanks for our pleasure!!!

Glass painting was excellent. Teacher was wonderful.

It was a perfect experience and very nice company. Really liked the experience. Good value for money. The staff was very nice, and spoke perfect English. It took about 2,5 hours and you could drink all the tea and coffee that you would like. Perfect way to spend the afternoon, will recommend everyone to take a cosy afternoon to make some beautiful mosiac glass panes.

Alle waren super nett und hilfsbereit. Es gab sogar einen extra Übersetzer für uns und man wurde abgeholt und ist zusammen mit den andern Teilnehmern dort hin. Es hat ca. 2std gedauert wonach es 1std trocknen musste wo uns die netten Leute tolle Restaurants empfohlen haben für die Wartezeit. Außerdem hat man viel über die Stadt und die Glasmalerei erfahren. Ich kann es nur jedem empfehlen ein muss wenn man in Istanbul ist !!

Go without hesitation, great people, great place and activity out of the ordinary, I had to drag my boyfriend there, but once there he had so much fun, thanks again Ali and Ada.

An excellent activity for a rainy day in Istanbul. Ali and the team were fantastic hosts and we were looked after very well from start to finish. It is great that we are able to take a handmade souvenir home with us, with the added bonus of knowing we made it! I would highly recommend it.

Two friends and I attended the stained glass workshop yesterday and we were so impressed! The location in Uskudar is in an interesting area with many restaurants and coffee shops around and very easy to find by public transportation. Our teacher Eda was knowledgeable and patient and English translation was available to help us communicate when needed. Painting our designs was very relaxing! We all loved the way our designs turned out and want to come back again soon! The workshop lasts about two hours and in the hour where we waited for our pieces to dry, we visited a nearby restaurant and then came back to pick them up. Such a fun afternoon! Highly recommended.

The stained glass painting was so much fun! Our hoca (teacher) Eda was lovely, so talented, and really helpful while we worked on our project. The entire team at Istanbul Workshops was really cool and friendly. I would actually go back and do this activity again, I enjoyed it so much!

This activity was very fun. I usually move at fast pace but this activity required close attention to detail & patience. This was absolutely fun. I was able to meet other travelers who shared similar experiences in life & taught some new languages as well as the history. I will do this again this is a 12 out 10 experience.

Absolute recommendation! The guide is incredibly friendly, and the teacher is as sweet as can be. A historical introduction to the topic, extremely friendly treatment, and unlimited coffee/tea make for a delightful experience. You also feel absolutely comfortable in the cozy studio. Being located on the Asian side of Istanbul means it's not overly touristy, making it a true hidden gem.

Ali, one of the workshop guides, not only enriched our experience with wise recommendations, but became a trusted friend, sharing his extensive knowledge of the city and its cultural treasures. Overall, the glass painting workshop provided us with not only a creative outing, but also a deep immersion into Istanbul's rich tapestry of art and hospitality.

I loved it! We met at the meeting point right on time and proceeded to the café by metro. The place was so cool, they have 3 types of workshops, we chose the stained glass painting workshop. After a short lession of history of stained glass, our teacher gave us instructions on how to use the colours. It was super fun and easy, we talked all the time and the tea kept coming! Can’t wait to come back and have this amazing experience again! Thank you so much for this lovely and heartwarming evening 🫶

It was amazing! Mr Ali made sure our time was very pleasant during the workshop. Not only he advised nice traditional food place nearby, he also provided his contacts in case we have any questions or help during our stay in Istanbul. Amazing service!

Lost for something to do with an afternoon I booked this traditional stained glass painting workshop on a whim. But I’m so glad I did. It truly was the highlight of my trip to Istanbul. The class itself is great but the people make it exceptional. Ali (who owns the café which hosts the workshop), helped me to the venue, he was incredibly friendly and was more than happy to offer advice on hidden gems in the city, as well as good conversation. The café itself is a gem, up a small street the interior and partially covered garden is like an oasis from the hustle and bustle of the city. Eda ran the class. She was very knowledgeable about the history of Istanbul and the art of stained glass, which gave context to the activity. She was always on hand to help, and was incredibly welcoming. Both Eda and Ali made me feel like part of the family. The tea and biscuites flowed throughout the session and there were lots of laughs. I came away with a new skill, a broad smile, and a great souvenir.

Ali and Eda were amazing. These extremely friendly and kind. They really showed me how good Turkish hospitality is. The staining glass workshop was very engaging and it was a relaxing activity to do. Many choices of Istanbul iconic monuments that could be drawn on the glass which makes it a very unique souvenir to take home to remember the trip in this spectacular city. I recommend everyone coming to Istanbul to participate in this activity.

Der Workshop war einfach unglaublich!! Ich würde von so großzügigen und lieben Menschen empfangen und habe unglaublich viel über die türkische Kultur erfahren. Die Workshop-Leiter waren unglaublich herzlich und freundlich und haben sich so viel Zeit für mich genommen, haben all meine Fragen beantwortet und sichergestellt, dass ich mich wohl fühle. Außerdem wurde man die ganze Zeit mit Tee, türkischem Kaffee und Keksen versorgt. Durch den Workshop hat man die Möglichkeit, mit anderen Touristen, aber auch mit Einheimischen in Kontakt zu kommen und dadurch unglaublich viel von der Kultur und dem Leben in Istanbul zu erfahren. Ich empfehle auf jeden Fall jedem, einen der Workshops zu machen!!!
