Amazing value for money ☺️ our guides spoke little English but they have tried their best to engage with us as much as they could. Loving the new lamp!The Team were very engaging with the group, not only helping with the activities but also by getting us to interact with each other and helping to breakdown natural barriers between people who don't know each other. The snacks and drink were in good supply throughout and the atmosphere was great, very friendly. Best part is we are able to take our memories home with us,you keep what you create.Very nice creative activity and it was fun to match all the colours and designs together. This was such a great experience! It's really fun for artistic people, but also for people who feel like they aren't too creative - you get a few sample patterns that you can do, so it's not difficult at all. The instructors Kübra and Ümmü Ebiha were extremely helpful and kind, so it was a pleasure attending this workshop!God oplevelser, kan anbefales.Une activité vraiment super ! The place was unique and the tools and the vibrant colors of mosaic with the backstory telling which was quite interesting and the instructor was very nice and friendly. The best thing is that you get to see the lamp come together and light up with all the reflections of different mosaic colors which you later once it’s done you get to keep and now it’s on my cupboard in my room having the Islamic sunset light. ALSO not to mention getting to meet cool people from all around the world. Es hat mega Spaß gemacht, kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Dazu hat man auch gleich eine schöne Erinnerung.It was fun, we enjoyed it and at the end you get a nice handmade souvenir from Istanbul.Class instructor was great, easy to follow directions. It was a lot of fun and ended up with some fantastic lamps!Brilliant workshop, the staff were lovely. Lamp looked great!Der Kurs für das Basteln der Mosaiklampe war sehr schön. Ich hoffe auf ein weiteres Mal, wenn ich wieder in Istanbul bin! 🩷Wow, what an amazing experience. Really does it worth, the staff was very polite and patient with our group which include teens. The communication was great as the staff speak fluent english. Thank you so much.The lantern making class was awesome. The instructor really broke the project into manageable tasks, was hands-on with help when we needed it, and kept the class pace moving so we would finish in time. It was a really wonderful experience! I would totally do it again.Firstly, the communication from the team is very good. They got in touch via WhatsApp with precise details of the meeting point. from there we went to the Asian side via the metro for the activity. The workshop was super fun, therapeutic activity. They explain the history behind it and the step by step process to make and design the lamp. They served us cay (Turkish tea) with cookies. Once the lamp is ready, they need to let it dry for around 40 mins. During this time you can enjoy the cafe. They served complimentary Turkish coffee. I highly recommend to do this activity, but keep in mind the time. it took me total of 4 ish hours Note that you need to return back on your own. I took the ferry back to the European side.great fun and such an interesting way to spend an afternoon. was also an excuse to explore the Asia side when I had only seen the European side so far. really grateful for the pick up and escort to other side, as wasn't familiar with public transport at all.Super fun! It's a really great workshop with tea/cofee/biscuit provided. The instructors are kind and we all enjoy the process a lot. Great value for money as you can take your lamp back home! It was also nice learning about the historical and cultural significance of mosaics. 10/10The Turkish Mosaic lamp activity was so much fun. The group of us that went really enjoyed making our own “designer” lamps. We were very grateful that they were still able to accommodate us even though we were running late. A Turkish mosaic lamp workshop runs about two to three hours. The bulk of that time is spent at the work station. A short demo and a wrap-up sit on either side of the build. You leave with the lamp you make.
The Turkish mosaic lamp workshop is priced per person. The current rate is on the booking page. The lamp body, glass beads, brass base, grout, and bulb are all in the kit. You take the finished lamp home.
The price covers a lamp body, the glass beads, the brass base, the soldering set, your guide, and the lit lamp you take home. Tools and materials are set up at your station. A short studio tour is part of the session.
