We ended up making really pretty lamps and were able to do so with the guidance of a really nice guide who taught us the basics. Loved the chill surroundings and nice music playing in the back. We also got Turkish tea drink and some cookies to munch on. This was so much fun! Nous avons eu des explications complètes sur l'origine de la lampe et de son histoire, ainsi que des explications précises pour chaque étape de la réalisation de la lampe. Notre guide était super, il nous a bien expliqué et il a été très sympathique. Je recommande l'atelier, que ce soit seul ou accompagné ! In Fatih wurden wir abgeholt und fuhren gemeinsam auf die asiatische Seite, nur eine Station (5min fahrt) und in wenigen Minuten waren wir schon im Workshop-Café. Dort erhielten wir eine großartige Einführung, konnten unserer Kreativität freien Lauf lassen und zugleich ein Möbelstück gestalten, das uns für immer begleiten wird. The whole experience was so special. No special skills required - and the lamp turned out so beautiful. I booked another workshop right away. The coffee making workshop was amazing, too. A Turkish mosaic lamp workshop runs about two to three hours. The bulk of that time is spent at the work station. A short demo and a wrap-up sit on either side of the build. You leave with the lamp you make.
The Turkish mosaic lamp workshop is priced per person. The current rate is on the booking page. The lamp body, glass beads, brass base, grout, and bulb are all in the kit. You take the finished lamp home.
The price covers a lamp body, the glass beads, the brass base, the soldering set, your guide, and the lit lamp you take home. Tools and materials are set up at your station. A short studio tour is part of the session.
