Turkish Mosaic Lamp Workshop Reviews

This was a really fun class! We learned a bit of the history of Turkish lamps and had plenty of time to design and glue ours.

Lovely workshop, helpful and friendly guides. Nice that they come and meet you to get to the venue. Good value for money had lots of fun!

It was great! Mustafa was excellent and the whole thing was very enjoyable. My children, 8 & 13, actually said it was the highlight of their trip!

Highly recommended. Pick-up was going well, took some 20 min to get there (from European side of Istanbul), nice place, well organized, great experience, kind and lovely people. Next time we will go for a coffee workshop, which we had the pleasure to listen too at the same time. And last but not least, a nice piece from holidays, not bought but made - is different.

Мы приехали в Стамбул компанией друзей и хотели не только посмотреть город, но и попробовать что-то еще, поэтому выбрали мастер-класс. В нем участвовала не только наша группа, но и другие туристы, что добавило интереса к творческому процессу. Ведущий говорил на анлийском и русском, рассказал об истории создания светильнисков, показал приеммы - что и как делать. Все происходило в дружеской обстановке за чашкой турецкого чая. Красивые лампы получились у всех. Особенный момент, когда только что сделанная твоими руками лампа зажигается и превращается в чудо. Эта лампа - замечательный сувенир, который будет долго напоминать о поездке. Спасибо большое организаторам!

Definitely a must-do! We really enjoyed the workshop. Mustafa is a really kind and accommodating guide/instructor. He picked us up and was there for us during the whole workshop. He introduced us to Mosaik while not pressuring or giving too much instructions - we really enjoyed the time and are happy about the results! 🥰💡 The price is totally justified in my opinion: a 3hr workshop including pickup, hosting with coffee & tea and the material. Go for it! 😊

This was a great fun activity for the afternoon. We were taken on the metro to the Asian side and made lamps in a group of 8 people at the location, which was well designed and equipped . It was really fun and memorable to make a personalised lamp design and we all have an excellent souvenir to take home

We had a fantastic time. The workshop was well organised and it certainly helped having a range of templates to use if you could not come up with your own design. The team provided fabulous guidance which was appreciated, It was a unique experience to do in Turkey. The piece created was priceless to me.

It was super easy and fun. Our guide Aziz and his coworkers were extremely helpful and made sure everyone was taken care of. The area around the workshop is also lovely with plenty of cheap shops/markets. Will definitely reccomend.

Давно хотела купить себе турецкий мозаичный светильник, в Интернете случайно увидела мастер-класс по изготовлению. Было очень интересно сделать светильник своими руками. Привезла домой это чудо, теперь он радует меня дома. Спасибо большое!

Die Herstellung der Mosaiklampen war super schön. Mustafa, unser Guide, hat uns am vereinbarten Treffpunkt pünktlich abgeholt, um dann mit uns gemeinsam zum Workshop zu fahren. Er hat es richtig toll erklärt, war total sympathisch und nett und es hat ganz viel Spaß gemacht diese Lampen selbst zu gestalten. Am liebsten würden meine Tochter und ich gleich noch eine machen. Auf jeden Fall können wir diesen Workshop weiterempfehlen. 5 Sterne +

Super fun activity to do while in Istanbul! Our instructor Mustafa was incredibly nice and guided us through the metro to get to the workshop and even gave us directions on how to get back. The workshop itself was really straightforward and you have tons of creative freedom to design your lamp however you want with sooo many colors to choose from!! 10/10 on everything, highly recommend checking them out!!

This was such a lovely sweet activity! I wish we had booked all the classes that were offered. Fun and unique

Ходили на мастер класс с детьми 8 и 11 лет. Все остались довольны! Было не скучно, уютно и увлекательно всем. Лампы получились на хорошем уровне у всех, не то что бывает - у взрослых аккуратно, у детей кривовато-у всех вышло отлично! Рекомендую, не пожалеете!

A fun activity!

I can just recommend to attend this activity! I took this workshop togerher with my daughter (13) and both of us had a perfect afternoon. Our guide/instructor, Ali was simply perfect: kind, informative, very communicative (you can reach him online anytime), caring and patient (even with us who unfortunately were significantly late😁). We got all info in advance and helped us how to get to the workshop. The work with the lamps was enjoyable and a huge success, watching all the other works, everybody could find her/his personality in the process. It is suitable for everyone, even for kids, help and good mood are guaranteed. Thank you! Good to know: whenever you take any programs in Istambul take the advice of your guide and check the traffic as travel time can change minute by minute!
