Mooie workshop ruimte en er waren genoeg materialen om mee te werken. Alleen weinig uitleg en achtergrond informatie over mozaïeken. Na 2 uur was de lamp klaar. De lijm moest drogen. Toen was onze docent verdwenen, hij was gaan wandelen met andere cursisten zonder het ons te zeggen. Beetje gek vonden wij. Er werden ook geen zelfgebakken koekjes uitgedeeld zoals omschreven…Fun experience with hospitable host … thanks for a special Turkish National Day ;)super fun, my kids loved itHa sido un curso muy divertido con gente muy agradable!El único fallo es que para poder fabricar la lámpara no había variedad de colores en los cristales. I love my lamp!This was very fun experience! We really wanted to take home Turkish lamps and this was even more special than buying them from the bazaar because we made it ourselves. They have the workshop in a cafe on the Anatolian side. We met a guide on the European side and they sent clear directions. It was a quick metro ride to the other side and a 5 min walk to the cafe. They had unlimited tea and coffee and has food to purchase if you don’t have a chance to eat before. Ali and Benjamin were fantastic instructors and guides. Workshop takes about 3 hours but definitely a unique and fun experience.It was amazing and we had a lot of fun! Aleyna's explanations were on the dot. The Cafe is really cute und just a short 5min walk from Üsküdar Metro station. Thank you so much for this amazing experience!Turkish Mosaic Lamp Workshop

This was such a neat idea! We love our lamps and they made the trip back safely so we can display them. Es lohnt sich!My partner and I loved this experience. The workshop was quite structured and easy to understand. The host was very patient and hospitable and made sure that everything is clear. The coffee and snacks were quite good. And this whole experience gives you unique and nice vibes. During the workshop, you feel relaxed and superb about doing something creative. We were very happy about our lamps, that's truly a splendid experience and the memories of the workshop and Istanbul will be with you forever. Although, our host was late, there is only positive things in the end.Es war eine schöne und tolle Erfahrung. Die Lampe hat einen schönen Platz gefunden und erinnert mich an eine schöne Zeit. Meillä oli vaikeuksia löytää paikka, koska seurasimme GetYourGuiden ohjeita ja olisi pitänyt seurata sähköpostissa järjestäjältä saamiamme ohjeita. Pajan ohjaaja oli mukava ja avulias. Saimme tehdä omat mosaiikkikuviot lamppuihin vapaasti, mosaiikkipaloja oli paljon valittavana. Sai tehdä valmiin mallin tai oman tahdon mukaan. Lampuista tuli kauniita. Teetä, vettä ja kahvia sai juoda. Mukava kahvila muutenkin.We had a great an amazing time building these lamps. They are both something my fiancé and I now have to share our experiences!Better than I expected. Throughly enjoy my lamp making experience. Was also able to try new food and make new friends. Advice: make sure you look at some ready made lanterns in the bazaar before you go. We left space between tiles and would’ve looked better without spaces. Host was a lovely lady and very good with my 6 year old son. Only small niggle is the lamp was smaller than I was expecting. But would’ve cost more if had they been bigger so don’t mind.Ali war mehr als zuvorkommend und freundlich, der Workshop war von Anfang bis Ende gut organisiert, toll gestaltet und verständlich aufgebaut. Ein MUSS für alle kreativen Menschen :) die Ergebnisse werden wundervoll, auch bei Motiven, bei denen man zuvor unsicher war. Das Angebot ist mehr als günstig und sein Geld absolut wert. Eine herzliche Empfehlung 🤗 Wer schlecht zu Fuß ist sollte die Option wählen selbst (zB mit dem Taxi) anzureisen, wenn man sich auf dem europäischen Teil abholen lässt muss man ein kleines Stück (ca. 4km) mit dem Guide zurücklegen. A Turkish mosaic lamp workshop runs about two to three hours. The bulk of that time is spent at the work station. A short demo and a wrap-up sit on either side of the build. You leave with the lamp you make.
The Turkish mosaic lamp workshop is priced per person. The current rate is on the booking page. The lamp body, glass beads, brass base, grout, and bulb are all in the kit. You take the finished lamp home.
The price covers a lamp body, the glass beads, the brass base, the soldering set, your guide, and the lit lamp you take home. Tools and materials are set up at your station. A short studio tour is part of the session.
