What language is the workshop in?

    Default language for open sessions

Open sessions run in English and Turkish at the same time. The guide demos in one tongue. Then the guide repeats the key beats in the other. The pace stays smooth. The demo is short. If your group is one tongue, the guide drops the other for that session.

    Workshop in english for visitors

The workshop in english is the most common ask from guests abroad. The full session can be in English with no Turkish. The guide is fluent. The studio team uses English at the door, the meeting point, and the studio. Booking pages are in English by default for our visitors.

English workshop istanbul guests can ask about

"English workshop istanbul" is what guests from abroad search. The answer is yes for every craft we run: mosaic lamp, perfume, tile painting, ebru, leather, stained glass, Turkish coffee. The guide team is at ease in English. There is no extra fee for an English session.

A note on the demo style

The demo is hands-on, not lecture style. The guide shows the step. You try it. The guide moves on. This works the same in English or Turkish. There is no slide deck. No long speeches.

    Turkish for local guests

Local guests get the session fully in Turkish on request. A private booking is the simplest path; just note the language preference at booking. The guide adjusts. Turkish-only sessions feel natural; nothing is translated mid-step.

    Other languages

Russian, French, German, Arabic and Spanish are available with a specific guide on certain dates. Send a note via our contact page with your craft, target date, and language. We confirm whether a guide who covers your language is available. If not, the session runs in English with a partner translator if you bring one.

    Mixed-language couples and groups

A mixed-language couple is common: one guest in English, the other in Turkish. The guide handles both. The guide demos once in each language for that station. The pace stays personal. The take-home piece is the same.

    Booking with a language preference

On the booking page, you can write the language preference in the notes field. We read every note. If you forget, send a message via our contact page before the session and we set the language pairing on the day.
