Our teacher was great!

It was so amazing!! It is such a unique art form and it was super relaxing! The instructor was encouraging and a great teacher. In the end I made a beautiful glass painting that reflects the light beautifully and I get to take it home and always remember this experience. 100% recommending this and all of the other workshops from this atelier

Good activity with Good teacher

We were the only two in our session so we had Eda's full attention. She took the time to explain and show us how to create our designs and even though she thought her English wasn't good, she needn't have worried as we understood her perfectly. Our works of art came out great and she made sure that we were always stocked up on tea and cookies. Gladly would take her class again. Areas that need to improve are communication as it was a bit chaotic. We were contacted the day before to ask whether we wanted to meet at the studio or meet at an agreed location. The location listed on the advert (Hafiz Mustafa 1864) was 1 min from where we were staying so we opted for this option and were advised that we would be met at 11.30am the next day (confirmation sent 2345 the day before). On the day of the activity at about 1105 we were called and told that classes were overrunning and they were busy so we'd need to make our own way there (it's a metro ride away but it's the principle and the very late notice). Instructions were sent and we made our way to the studio only for the class to start at 12.25/12.30 rather than the 12.00 start time advertised (despite the advert stating to be 5 mins early). As mentioned above Eda was great and we have zero complaints about her. She would get 5 stars and this review score of 4 is in no way a reflection of her. Once we had finished our art it needed 45 mins to dry and instead of being able to stay where we were, it felt a bit rushed to ask us to sit in the garden area (which is unpleasant as people smoke there) so another class (not Eda's ) could start. We'd barely finished and she'd just gone to take our art to dry when we were asked to move. On the balance would probably visit the venue / workshop again but the confused communication, late notice and urgency to vacate our workspace felt quite impersonal; business or not. A suggestion would be to just advise customers to make their way to the venue and remove the offer of meeting in Sirkeci (based on our experience). Given that this review is about the experience on a whole, I'm taking a star off.

The activity was overall extremely good value. We were guided from across the bus straight to the workshop. We were given unlimited tea biscuits and coffee. The main instructor has many many years of experience and is very very wise and helpful in our other sick choices in making the painted glass. She was able to help us create very nice keepsakes. The workshop is located alongside a cafe that also sells tea and is very nice to sit in while you wait for the paint to dry. 5 out of 5 would recommend anyone who is interested in a unique experience.

Absolutely superb workshop - guide and other staff of cafe were lovely, really fun, interesting and unique activity in a really cool cafe that we wouldn’t have otherwise been to - we had lunch here too (not included in workshop) and the food was excellent! cannot recommend this highly enough, you must do this if you are a tourist in Istanbul!!

Excellent mentor and very entertaining and fulfilling activitiy.

¡Una actividad espectacular! Es súper divertido, tienes varias plantillas para elegir. Te ayudan en todo momento y te explican como hacerlo para que quede perfecto. Durante toda la actividad te ofrecen bebidas. Además, al acabarlo te enmarcan la vidriera en un cuadro muy bonito y te Dan un certificado. Actividad que sin duda voy a recomendar.

The experience was brilliant from beginning to end, we were guided from the European side over to the studio on the Asian side. There was translator and we met amazing teacher & wonderful other guests too. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

The workshop was like therapy for my mom and I, we enjoyed it very much and all the explanation from Eda was OUTSTANDING, her attention to detail and patience are beyond expected. We shared our experience with other people and it was an all around enjoyable time, we were served tea non-stop and the cookies were good as well. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to relax and have a me-time, if possible, look for Eda, couldn’t ask for a better teacher than her!
