Benjamin offered to meet up and guide me to his workshop which was so helpful. The space was cozy and his presentation was very informative. He was personable and we actually shared a wonderful lunch afterwards. Grateful for the new friendship and can’t wait to read my friends fortunes with my new Turkish coffee making set!Amazing experience, you should all try it the cost is affordable for everyone and gave you back such a the great value. Personally, I am not a huge coffee drinker but thoroughly enjoyed learning about Turkish coffee and its origins! We both enjoyed the atmosphere of the class which was held in an actual cafe, we don't remember her name, but she was a great assistant as it was her first time doing the coffee presentation. Both her and Bunyamin were very insightful, as well as helpful. We were treated to tea after and got to meet the cafe owner. We recommend this unique experience to anyone in Istanbul!Very uniquely experience on the Anatolian side of Istanbul. We met at a nice little cafe and went through a detailed history lesson about Turkish coffee, its origins and the cultural significance etc. I got to make my own Turkish Coffee and read patterns of the grounds as locals would do. Benyamin was very friendly and professional throughout. I would highly recommend it to those who are interested in learning more about Turkish coffee.Unique experience in Istanbul! Great experience and something that I can carry with me for a long timeEven inspired me to buy myself a set for myself and guests in the futureLovely and wonderful experience. I learned a lot of new things I did it know before. Amazing host and lovely giftwe had a great time learning about Turkish coffee, its history and traditions. we learned how to make it and how to tell fortunes after the coffee is finished. All in all we had a great time and would definitely recommend the experience to all who want to learn more about Turkish coffeeDefinitely worth it, especially if you have never tried coffee fortunetelling. It happens in a very artsy place, with a great host.We attended this workshop with my mother and were extremely pleased. Firstly, a very good organization, taking into account which side of Istanbul tourists have accommodation on. Secondly, an incredible location where a workshop was held with an amazing atmosphere that allows you to feel and enjoy what is happening. Well, the most important thing is the narration and the conduct of the workshop. The team tells very interesting things about Turkish coffee, history and divination. The atmosphere is so friendly that during the process all the present participants become something more than just strangers gathered for a workshop. We definitely recommend this experience for everybody who wants to get acquainted with the Turkish culture a bit moreexcellent location, presentation, last minute booking so the communication was awesome. Beside learning a new skill, the whole experience was just authentic and real. It also enlightened us on the history of Turkish coffee making. The coffee shop and it’s location on the Asian side of Istanbul was quite special. Bunyamin was kind and intuitive and just a very dear person. I highly recommend this experience.Bunyamin and Ali were excellent hosts for this experience. I really enjoyed this experience! It was more than I expected. I learned how to make Turkish coffee, it's history and a little about coffee reading. At the end, I also got recommendations from on places to visit in Üsküdar. I definitely recommend it. Loved the goodie bag at the end!I had so much fun learning about turkish coffee culture, how to brew it and finally how to read destins out of it. ;) It has been an absolute pleasure, the hosts are super friendly and funny. The session runs about ninety minutes from sit-down to leaving. Brewing takes around twenty, drinking and resting fifteen, and the cup reading another twenty. The rest is open time for second cups, photos, and questions.
You brew Turkish coffee on a cezve with us, drink it slowly, then we read the grounds. The price covers brewing materials, lokum and water, the guide for the full session, and a printed note of the reading.
