Can I add or change people in my booking?
How to ask for a change
Send a short message via our contact page with three things: your booking reference, the original head count, and the new head count. We check the calendar and reply within one work day. The original booking holds your existing seats until we confirm the change so you do not lose what you have.
Add guest workshop booking flow
Adding a guest is easy when seats remain on the day. The price for the new guest matches the rate on the booking page. Their payment happens at the studio with the rest of the group. For private bookings, an extra guest may push you into the next group-rate tier. We share the new total before locking the change so there are no surprises at the studio.
Change number of people workshop downward
Going from three to two? That works too. If the change happens outside 48 hours of the session, the cancellation policy treats the freed seats normally. Inside 48 hours the seats may be harder to refund, since the studio setup is already prepared, but we look at the case before applying the standard rule.
Last-minute additions on the day
A guest booked for two had a friend fly in the night before the workshop and asked, on the morning of, whether the friend could join. We had one open seat at that hour and added her. The friend paid at the studio and joined her group's station. Same-day additions depend entirely on whether we have an open seat.
Splitting one booking into two groups
Sometimes a booking starts as one party and the group splits across two sessions. A traveler had three friends booked for an afternoon mosaic lamp session, then two of them wanted to swap to a morning perfume session instead. We treated it as two operations: a partial cancellation on the original, a fresh booking on the new. The contact page is the simplest place to start.
What we cannot do
Adding a guest to a private session that has already started, mid-workshop, is not feasible. The reason is practical: stations are set up and materials measured before the session begins, and slotting in a workstation in the middle disrupts the pace for everyone. The same applies for leather and stained glass, where the cutting tools are pre-set per guest.
Group bookings and head count changes
For corporate or larger group bookings, head count changes happen often as people drop out or join late in the planning week. We work with the team lead on a rolling head count up to 24 hours before the session. Past that we lock the count for studio setup. The team lead message is the channel; the invoice gets adjusted before the session.
