How the cancel window works
Our workshop cancellation policy lets you cancel up to 24 hours before the start. The 24 hours is set by the time on your Istanbul workshop booking page. Direct bookings on our site are reservation-only. Payment is taken at the studio on the day. So there is no money to send back when you cancel in time. For partner-platform bookings, the platform handles the refund. Each platform follows its own rules.
Late cancels and no-shows
A cancel made under 24 hours from the start time is a late cancel. For partner-platform bookings, late cancels are unfortunately outside the refund window. The platform handles this on its own rules. For direct bookings on our site, payment is collected at the studio; the spot was held but no money was charged. Either way, the prep work and the guide's time are already set aside, which is why the 24-hour rule exists.
Date changes and reschedules
A date change inside the same workshop is free if you ask before the 24-hour window. We move you to any open slot in the same workshop catalog at no extra cost. After the 24-hour window, a date change works only if a new slot opens up. The team does its best in those cases but cannot promise.
Bookings via Tripadvisor, GetYourGuide, or Viator
A booking on a partner site follows that site's cancel rules. Most match our 24-hour rule. The cancel button is on the partner's order page. It is not on our site. For help with a partner booking, reach out via our contact page. The partner's own support team can also help.
Private session and corporate bookings
Private sessions and corporate events have a different cancel rule. The prep time on those bookings is longer. The deposit and cancel terms are written in the quote we send. Most private bookings allow a free reschedule with three days of notice. The full terms are part of the quote you sign.
How to start a cancel or change
Send a message via our contact page with your booking reference. Or use the cancel link in your booking email. We confirm the cancel within one work day. Refunds may take a few days to clear, depending on the card or wallet.
What happens after you cancel
You get an email when the cancel is confirmed. For direct bookings on our site, payment happens at the studio; if you cancel before the workshop, there is nothing to refund. For a partner-platform booking, any refund flows through the platform on its own schedule, usually within three to five work days. We can help you trace a partner refund if it takes longer than a week.
